I loved the concept of the book; a case that was closed five years ago with no real conclusion, and a student trying to find the truth.
The execution was also great, I especially loved the mixed media parts like the police interview and the notes. But my favorite parts must have been Pip's friendship with Ravi and the atmosphere of a small town where everyone knows everyone.
Sal's story was the most interesting to me, and I felt really bad and sorry for him throughout the book.
It was quite of a fast read, but it did start to drag a bit about the middle point. There were just a bit much repetition I think, and the stakes weren't high enough.
There were no truly shocking reveals either sense I guest who the killer, or killers were just before Pip understood who it was. The book also ended a bit to nicely for me.
In conclusion; it was fun to follow this investigation, and learn a bit about Pip alongside it. It was a good book, and I am interesting in reading the second one too. 4/5 starts from me. :)

I am also agree that Sal's story was the best but also the saddest. I would love to see his story and also his parents. Sometimes the dialog between Pip and the people she talk with took all the attention. Kind of boring after a while and she also put on more and more people in her list.
But i am a big fan of mystery and murder so i really loved this book. Honestly: i could not find out who the murder was.
i would give it 4 stars cause the dialog took all the attention and it was boring after a while.

‘A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder’ kept my attention throughout the whole book. It was fast-paced and I didn’t really feel like it dragged at all.
What made me a little dissapointed was that the murder wasn’t that involved in the story. I think I would’ve been more blown away by the end if it was someone else.
Overall a great book that I enjoyed reading but not one that will sit with me.
Will read the sequel and I’m really excited because I’ve heard that it is even better than the first book!
