rory (rorybaskin378) | 92 comments I recently finished reading the book A Lesson in Vengeance, and I loved it! I would love some suggestions of books with similar themes, such as those mentioned in the title - an academic setting, plot twists, secret societies, and (sort of) a murder mystery. preferably with less romance than a lesson in vengeance, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thank you!

Rory, I expanded the header/ topic title with your description of the type of books you're book for - and removed the specific book title (most people are not familiar with the title; we don't want the request to look like a book promotion).

Gillian | 342 comments I also saw a list recently - I don't remember where - talking about gothic academia books. That sounds like the genre you're interested in.

No secret society, but it's still good.
