What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I recently finished reading the book A Lesson in Vengeance, and I loved it! I would love some suggestions of books with similar themes, such as those mentioned in the title - an academic setting, plot twists, secret societies, and (sort of) a murder mystery. preferably with less romance than a lesson in vengeance, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thank you!
