Graeme Rodaughan Awesome, Perry.

Perry Lake | 335 comments In the same year that the United States declared its independence, Professor Adam Weishaupt of the University of Ingolstadt, founded the Illuminati Society. Credited with everything from insurrection to upsetting world economies to satanic rituals, this much-maligned organization certainly wished to free society from the strictures of church and crown. Prof. Weishaupt also had a keen interest in occultism, astrology, and the secrets of the pyramids.

Weishaupt appears in THE NIGHTMARE OF FRANKENSTEIN, book 1 of the Legend of Frankenstein series. First, Weishaupt offers aid to Victor, hoping the eager young man will surpass even his own goals. Later, the Monster of Frankenstein seeks out Professor Weishaupt, hoping to learn the secrets of his creation. Will the professor aid the monster ad he aided the scholar in his study of the unhallowed arts?

Perry Lake | 335 comments Back from the Dead! The MONSTER OF THE WORLD lives again!

Following the collapse of Double-Dragon Publishing, the World was left without the adventures of the Monster of Frankenstein—until now!

In these seven stories, the Monster battles a vile Gypsy witch with the power to command demons! In Egypt, he meets an enclave of ghouls and beds the Queen of the Mummies!

Leaving behind the Old World for the new one, the Monster hopes to find HP Lovecraft's nightmare city of Arkham, and there create a mate with which to share the world!

Eventually, the Monster plunges into the swamps of the Deep South and strikes out for the Wild West, hoping to make a new home for himself…and a profit from the hunting of gun-toting outlaws! But will a deranged preacher prove to have the fastest gun?

Find out in the pages of MONSTER OF THE WORLD, available once more!

Perry Lake | 335 comments Back from the Dead! Following the collapse of Double-Dragon Publishing, the world was left without the adventures of the Monster of Frankenstein—until now! But fear not—the final missing book is available once more!

The MONSTER OF THE EAST continues his quest! Rejected by the society of men, the Monster once more finds himself in old San Francisco. There he learns of a strange cult within the back alleys of Chinatown—a cult whose practice of reanimating the dead might equal that of Victor Frankenstein!

To learn their secrets, the Monster must sail across the vast Pacific to Imperial China, where he combats the Tongs of Shanghai. Along the way to mysterious Tibet, he clashes with the hopping ghosts of Hunan and the abominable Yeti of the Himalayas. What follows places the Monster in the middle of a ten thousand-year-old war between a cult of necromancers and a secret society bent on subjugating the entire world!

And even that is not the end.

With links to Perry Lake's earlier DRACULA and GHOULS series, Monster of the East forms an epic saga of historical horror and sinister schemes in concord with Mary Shelley's original classic.
