Hiii! I have started reading, but it's going really slow because I have so little time to read! But just wanted to let you know that I have started :)

Okay so I have been reading for a while, still going slow though!

Up to chapter "Common rabble"
(view spoiler)[ It’s quite weird to me that they suddenly call her the thief and the magician again - why not just Harte and Esta..? I don’t remember Cela, are we supposed to already know her? And I thought his mother was on a boat out of town? Man, I forgot like everything. Poor Cela, but what was that impulse that came over her? Does she have magic as well? Aaah Lorcan! I didn’t realize he’d be in the past as well, but didn’t Esta go back with him? I forgot. Man I can’t believe how much I forgot, it hasn't been that long since we read the first one!

Who is the girl Lorcan was talking about? It definitely wasn’t Esta because he thought she wasn’t useful at all, lol shame on you because you’ll like her in the future, but I’m guessing he’s talking about Cela? Or someone else entirely? Nooo why is Cela so dense, letting Evelyn siren her like that🙄🙄 I have a feeling Cela has magic too, not sure. (hide spoiler)]

Part 2
(view spoiler)[ I loved the Viola chapter, but I hate how many POV's there are in this one! Every time I get invested in someone, we change POV's. I feel bad for Jack as well, he really doesn’t have it easy.. Viola is so bad ass, and I can’t wait to see her infiltrate her brothers gang. I do wish she’d know about Harte, because she’s heartbroken now :/ I have a feeling that Jianyu and Cela will become a thing. I hate that the siren now has the ring aah!

Aaaah so Harte put his affinity in Cela’s head, which was why she couldn’t stay and look for her brother. Oh she will NOT be happy when she finds out about that.

I can’t believe they went 2 years into the future instead of a few days!! What’s happening with her affinity? And what does Harte’s power want with hers? I definitely do wish that they’d just killed Jack, he’s trouble!! Can’t wait to see if the other characters will be written in the future as well, or if we’re still in the past with their chapters. Also, I just remembered, who was the girl with Jianyu? I thought it might be Cela, but I don’t think that’s true, since she said that she had been searching for him for quite a while..? (view spoiler)[Aaaaah Jack has the book! That’s going to be trouble. I’m glad we didn’t jump to the future with the characters as well, because that would’ve been weird. The Theo guy and girl were so random?? I wonder what roles they’re going to play, she seemed way too interested in Jack’s story. Also can’t believe that Esta basically killed all those people by making the train wreck!! I love that Julien is a crossdresser, he seems so cool. Man, another new character. I just want to know what’s going on with the people we already know and love 😂😂 Jericho (North) seems cool though, but we were in the middle of the suspense between Esta and Harte so I don’t care right now😂😂 I wonder if Esta and Harte will work with the Anistasi, it feels like they will. So much has changed in the two year they’ve missed!!

I’m like 30000% sure that the girl who visited Jack was the reporter, they’re all assuming it’s a guy but it’s definitely her. What was her name again?

Oh my it was Nibsy who ordered Jianyu to be taken, and now he has him! I can see so many subplots developing, but too much is going on😂 I feel like it would be great to have books about the side characters and not just have it all in this one lol, I can’t keep the timelines straight. (view spoiler)[Jack knows aaaaah!!! How do they already know Esta is here? Did someone betray them..? The combination of Harte & Esta’s powers seems to be chaotic; the book makes terrible things happen right? I mean the elevator almost broke because of the darkness in her vision - definitely because of the book. Why does it want her so bad?? I feel like there’s too much foreshadowing, I’m scared. I’m full on shipping Jianyu and Cela, I’m so glad that she saved him!! Yay :) knew it, the girl was Reynolds. Viola has a crush on her, so they definitely aren’t dead. I knew she’d cut of her hair, ever since the ‘resembling a man’ talk, but I still can’t believe she did it😂😭 Harte liked her hair so much :(((( Ja k is definitely addicted to morphine. Oh no, Evelyn and Jack together? That’s a recipe for disaster. It definitely sounds like tha anastasi will be working against Esta instead. I wonder what the Veiled Prophet wants from Julien..
