Robin (robinmy) | 3478 comments Viki & Laura, I've only read one other Beverly Barton book. I didn't know until I was almost done that it was part of a long series. I thought it was ok, but would have liked it much better if I knew all the characters. I've heard good things about this book, so I thought I'd give it a try.

You talking about Griffin and Powell? I've read it and really liked it. A little dated now but still good.

I should get the library book soon. I've never read this author before, but the books sounds really good.

Yes, that was it. I read book #7 in the long series, so that is probably why I wasn't sold on it. I hate reading out of order.

What you didn't like in the book (the forensic science) I loved.

Robin (robinmy) | 3478 comments LOL I usually like the forensic aspects of the suspense thrillers, but this was just a little too much for me.
