I finished Arsenic and Adobo by Mia P. Manansala!

I really enjoyed it. I gave it 4 stars!
It wasn't my favorite Cozy, but still good.

TerryRose | 56 comments I‘m once again splitting my time between stitching and reading! So far in September I‘ve read:

A Killer Plot; The Deadly Cliche; The Last Word; Written in Stone; & Poisoned Prose all by Ellery Adams

I’ve also read Murder She Barked; The Ghost and Mrs Mewer by Krista Davis

And The Rogue Hunter by Lynsay Sands

Thoroughly enjoyed each of them!

I have this but I haven't even tried to read it yet. I'm afraid I'll hate it. What were your thoughts?

I read Children of blood and bone by tomi odeyemi (I think that’s her name spelled right). It was brilliant! Can’t wait for book 2.

Nyxia by Scott Reintgen. I’m a scii fi movie lover and wish this was also a movie! The narrator for the audiobook was great. Looking forward to book 2!

AStitchTooFar | 8 comments I read in september:
The Sea in the Sky by Jackson Musker (meh, very mediocre and predictable plotline)

Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi (loved it, highly recommend if you enjoy fantasy)

The Only Woman in the Room by Marie Benedict (recommend if you're not familiar with the WWII history of Hedy Lamarr)

Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee: An Indian History of the American West by Dee Brown (written like a lecture series, but lots of history to learn about)

Wij slaven van Suriname by Anton de Kom (a must read if you're Dutch, a history of the colonisation of Suriname)
