I have this but I haven't even tried to read it yet. I'm afraid I'll hate it. What were your thoughts?

I read Children of blood and bone by tomi odeyemi (I think that’s her name spelled right). It was brilliant! Can’t wait for book 2.
Nyxia by Scott Reintgen. I’m a scii fi movie lover and wish this was also a movie! The narrator for the audiobook was great. Looking forward to book 2!

me too, loved it! have the sequel on my tbr list :)

The Sea in the Sky by Jackson Musker (meh, very mediocre and predictable plotline)
Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi (loved it, highly recommend if you enjoy fantasy)
The Only Woman in the Room by Marie Benedict (recommend if you're not familiar with the WWII history of Hedy Lamarr)
Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee: An Indian History of the American West by Dee Brown (written like a lecture series, but lots of history to learn about)
Wij slaven van Suriname by Anton de Kom (a must read if you're Dutch, a history of the colonisation of Suriname)

Murder at the Courthouse; Murder Comes By Mail; & Murder is No Accident by AH Gabhart
Mr Mayfair by Louise Bay
The Babbling Brook Naked Poker Club (#)
By Ann Warner
The Bookseller; The Crypt Thief by Hugo Marathon
Betrothed to the Beast by Elijah Emerald
Pleased with each of them and will seek out more by these authors!
