Christopher I'm re-reading some of my favourite Stephen King novels and would like to find someone who is doing likewise. I recently re-read Misery, The Stand and The Long Walk. My next will be either It, or Pet Semetary. I'm also looking forward to revisiting The Green Mile, Gerald's Game, and a few others.

Get in touch if you'd like a reading companion for your next (or your first) read of a Stephen King novel.

James McClellan Loved the Long Walk. Have read it many times. But alas I've moved on from Stephen King. Loved his writing style from back in the day, but somehow I just don't enjoy it as much anymore. I'll likely listen to some of my favorites on audiobooks as that is a different experience. I've gotten into a habit of revisiting books through audiobooks. It's like a different story, regardless of how well you remember them.

Christopher Yeah, his narrative voice is quite distinctive, especially when he writes his 'kid from the 1950s' novels. His fantasy novels have more of a formal feel to them. I'm currently 50 something books in, so I want to complete the set. Just started Wind Through the Keyhole, so hopefully going to finish his Dark Tower series by the end of the year. I enjoyed the Bill Hodges trilogy on audiobook, and Bazaar of Bad Dreams. I re-read The Stand last year, but if I visit it again, I may go for audiobook.

I've done the same thing in revisiting books I've read in their audio version. So neat how something that hasn't changed can hit us in different was through a different medium.
