Failed to find this book after going through pages and pages of bodice rippers/
The cover is what I mostly remember.
The story, hmmm!

She lives on an island with her father.
He visits island and she wants nothing to do with him.
The one scene I remember is her sliding down the banister and landing at his feet. She wanted to relive an experience she enjoyed as a child, so she may only be 18 or 19yrs old.
The cover is a lot like the current profile of this group, but she is facing the other direction and the painting is cleaner looking.
Found so many old favourites going through the list, but never came across this particular book!
I know its not much to go on, but read this 30 yrs ago!

If anyone can help me find this book and author, it will be much appreciated!
