The next quarterly challenge commences and continues on for the last three months of the year. We have some of the most celebrated holidays during those three months. Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. This challenge will have three different parts. Each part will celebrate one of those three holidays. Read on to find out how the challenge will work!
This challenge will start at midnight on October 1st and end at 11:59pm on December 31st. Winners will be announced on January 1st, 2022.

The general challenge rules can be found here.
As noted above, this challenge will take place in three parts. Each part will continue through one of the months of the challenge. The part will start on the first day of the month and continue through the last day of the same month. At the start of the next month (midnight on the 1st), no more books can be posted for the tasks for the previous month.
Part One: Halloween
This part will start on October 1st at midnight and finish on October 31st at 11:59pm.
Part Two: Thanksgiving
This part will start on November 1st at midnight and finish on November 30th at 11:59pm.
Part Three: Christmas
This part will start on December 1st at midnight and finish on December 31st at 11:59pm.
**see below for tasks for each part.
Each part will have 50 tasks that teams will work together to complete. Tasks are repeatable. Once a team completes all 50 tasks they will receive 50 bonus points. The team will then work again towards completing all 50 tasks to receive another 50 bonus points. When a task is posted on a team’s review thread it will be crossed off the list of tasks in the next score update post. Again, repeat tasks can be posted for. However, once posted they may not be used for a future set of bonus points. Meaning if you have a book that fits a particularly hard category I suggest you bank that book and post it after all tasks have been posted for.
Books may be moved around and switched between tasks for the current set of tasks a team is working towards. But once all tasks are completed none of the books posted during that set of tasks may be moved again.
Members will be split into even teams.
Please comment here to sign up, when signing up please let me know how many books you plan to read for each of the months that the challenge goes for. Don’t forget any holidays/birthdays you may celebrate during the course of the challenge! :)
**it’s better to low ball than to write you’re going to read more books than you actually will, you won’t be letting your team down that way.**
Example:
October - 20 books
November - 15 books
December - 15 books
Teams will receive a SS closer to the start date of the challenge in order to keep track of their books posted since completing all tasks for each part will result in 50 bonus points.
