Play Book Tag discussion

It seems like Kindle has been updated and while reading my last two books the format for updating your reading progress has changed from the leftside to a list on the right.

Beyond that Goodreads, the only one I ever use has been removed from my choices of where to update to. When I press my more choices I get the blue tooth.

Has anyone else had this happen?

I've also have been adjusting to the new Kindle format. However I had no idea that you could update your progress on Goodreads from the Kindle! Very fancy!

My issue is that any time I click back to Home from a book, it is marked as "Read" on Goodreads even if I looked at one page only which is super annoying.

Huh? My doesn't mark as read, but I can no longer show my progress.:( I always liked that feature.

Well I could show my progress on twitter or facebook, but I'm not really into that.

Updates is an easy fix. First go into your kindle settings (bottom bar right lines) and turn off auto updates. That way none of your books will auto update. Unless you want one. For auto updates on a book you are reading, open book and go to view details. A smaller window shows up with summary, number pades, links etc. You will see under summary and number of pages an option to turn on auto updates for that book.

I did not realize you could auto page read updates. Need to check it. However, I read mostly ebooks in my Nook App. Just like the navigation and ability to organize and manage my ebook library far better.

So strangely, without my doing anything my kindle has reverted to the way I prefer and I can update my reading status from there to goodreads.
