THE PERSONAL CHALLENGE


Our July Challenge is the “Personal” Challenge!

It is an idividual challenge, and its duration is from October 1st to October 31st. Please read the description carefully before you join.



RULES:
1.Each book must be 100 pages or more to be counted.
2.Each book can fit only one prompt, but each prompt can be used more than once.
3.The prompts can be used in any order and you can complete as many as you want.



How to Pledge your books:

On your Challenge page , you will pledge your books (and points) like that:

Book Name:
Prompt No. : (the number of the prompt, e.g. 3)
Review link : (if any)
Page Count:
Buddy read link: (if any)
Points:



PROMPTS
1. Read a book with a character that has the same hair colour as you.
2. Read a book with a character that has the same name as you. (middle names count too)
3. Read a book whose title's first letter is also the first letter of your name.
4. Read a book with a character that has the same pet as you. (Or the pet you would like to have, if you don't have any)
5. Read a book that takes place on a country you want to visit.
6. Read a book that takes place on a fantasy world you would like to visit (if it was real).
7. Read a book with a character who does the same activity you do. (e.g. dancing, basketball, drawing, reading and others)
8. Read a book with a character who has the same eye colour as you.
9. Read a book with a character who can speak a language you can speak too.
10. Read a book whose cover colour is your favorite colour.
11. Read a book where all the letters of your name can be found in the title.
12. Read a book with a character that has birthday the same season as you.
13. Read a book with character that resembles you of yourself.
14. Read a book that takes place in a country you have visited.



SCORING:
1.Each prompt earns 2 points.
2.If you write a review you get 2 extra points. (Please note that 2 lines reviews don’t count as reviews)
3.If you read our any of our group’s BOTM you get 5 points extra, whether it fits any prompt or not.
4.If it is a buddy read in our group, you get 4 extra points.
5.Page Count Scoring (counts after 300 pages):
300 pages - 1 point
350 pages - 2 points
400 pages - 3 points
450 pages - 4 points
500 pages - 5 points
And so on…

yeah, or just a character you can relate to.
