THINGS WITH WINGS
Duration: November 1 - 30, 2021

For this open-prompt challenge, read books in any genre that feature "things with wings" in the cover art, book title, or its text. You are no doubt eager to soar off on your imagination, but first check out this list of examples:
*Insects and birds
*Other critters - bats, pterodactyls, quetzalcoatlus
*Supernatural creatures - dragons, fairies, angels, demons, pegasi, hippogriffs
*Aircraft and spacecraft
*Large buildings (with wings)
*Statues or other art depicting "winged things"

It's easy to join the fun! Simply post a comment to let the challenge leader know how many books you aim to read.

I read Spirit Run: A 6,000-Mile Marathon Through North America's Stolen Land for the quarterly challenges and hadn't expected it to fit here. However, the text explained that the ultramarathon runners in these Peace & Dignity Journeys run through the Americas in honor of the prophecy of the Eagle and the Condor and to build indigenous solidarity.
