Okay posting here since we’re starting tomorrow. For I’m thinking of ending things it was hard to figure out where to cut it in half because it seems like it’s basically just this long stream of consciousness lol no chapters or anything, but there are breaks, and I was trying not to spoil but also find a good spot soooo in my copy I came up with:

From beginning until page 112 which is where the “chapter” ends with this little snippet about cause of death or something then the next part starts off with the dining room to give you a feel of where because pages might be a little diff

Then 113 to the end

Hiii ok! So I'm reading the ebook and it is divided into chapters lol so I'll see if I find that spot and hopefully it's where you said

Ok so it's a little over the halfway point, the previous chapter would have been exactly halfway in my copy, but either way that's fine for me

Today is the last day both of read at 9 pm lol starting tomorrow I'll be one hour ahead

We can do exactly halfway if you’d like! I wasn’t paying much attention when I split up lol because I tend to try to do it really quickly because I’ll read the whole page and spoil the book😭😭😭 but halfway works!

And yeah😭😭 we can start earlier if you’d like so you don’t have to read so late? So 8pm for me and 9pm for you? I don’t mind!

Starting the month off strong because the main 3 books people mentioned on my post was If We Were Villains, 11/22/63, and this one! Hopefully the month doesn’t start off strong and fall flat but all those comments made me more excited 🥰

And maybe since it’s spooky month I’ll FINALLY brave watching the shining. 2 and a half hours 😵‍💫

Also: might be late tonight lmao my aunt is just now bringing the twins over and I have no clue how long they’re gonna stay for

don't worry, 10 pm is good for me, especially since sometimes my classes run late

It's fine I'm here so 9 is still good😌 can't wait. And also where was that exact halfway point in your book because mine doesn't have a break that seems like a chapter before the one I mentioned until like page 91. Theres a small one at 104 that says something about leaving the bathroom, it's not exactly a chapter break in my book it keeps going on the same page but that might be what you meant?

Ok you know what, the halfway point changes when I put the book on full screen and it's the chapter you said

So let's just do that one lol

Apple Books is always doing weird things like that

Hm that’s only page 77 in my book out of 210 pages so not exactly halfway more like 37%

We can still do it that way but idk why our copies seem so off

Oh okay lmao. The chapter I originally said (something about the bathroom) or the little sentence I mentioned. Because the bathroom is in the middle of a chapter for me and the next chapter break was at the dining room sentence

Oh this is a buddy read me and Naomi planned to read together, not for the entire never ending tbr group!

There are books for the group and people can request individual threads together when they want to read books together and Naomi and I have decided to read some books together this month outside of the group picks!😊

It's such a quick read too

It really is like we're gonna be done tomorrow lol it's like a 2 hour read. It's so good too just because of how weird it is.

What do you think the little breaks where we read discussions are about? I'm assuming it's about Jake but like did he kill someone? Or like... idk. Him and his parents are so off.

Everything is so weird...I honestly have no guesses

My mind is saying they’re gonna be this weird like family you see on scary movies and they’re gonna try to kill her but maybe that’s too predictable? The scratches on the door made me like😅 but if he brought his last girlfriend there and she’s actually seen her then maybe not

I don't think they'll end up trying to kill her because like you said, it's be way too predictable
