#1 Lol...I completely misunderstood your comments about father/son, my bad. I opted to use the father's full name so it doesn't get confused with his son again (if that isn't okay, let me know and I'll fix it).

I was able to reconcile where all books belonged, except for one: Essai Sur l'Art de la Guerre; Volume 1. The father lived 1754-1800, and this book was originally pub. in 1723. It's possible HIS father wrote it, but I can't find any sites to confirm that theory, so I just left it on Henri's profile.

#10 - fixed.

#26 is done.
Note: Looking at the cover of Complete Idiot's Guide to National Security, Allan’s name is spelled with two L’s. I found an Allan Swenson with a different idiot’s guide listed in his books, so I moved National Security to this Allan instead of the one L Alan. Hopefully that's correct.

#27 - These don't appear to be the same author? Looking at the book covers, they clearly says Kyle J. Benson and Kylie Benson - male and female, perhaps? They are both listed on Amazon separately also. Ironic they both write health type books, though.

Tiff (utbooklady) #28 and #29 are done
#30 the rest of this one is done

#31, book blurb mentions Iain D. Campbell, not Iain C. I corrected I.C. to Iain D. (who had other sermon type books listed on his profile, so this one seems to match). John MacKenzie is listed on the book cover too, so I left him on it and last, I added John MacIver.

#1 Your solution seems reasonable to me but, alas, I don't think it fits GR policy. I leave that to a librarian. As to the book, the father was a Colonel so I think the book is properly assigned to him.

Glad you caught my mistakes in ##26 & 27. Clearly I wasn't having a good day.

- It is acceptable to use a longer version of an author's name to disambiguate authors with the same name (but it can be confusing when that name isn't used on covers).
(When there is a longer name on the cover, it is not acceptable to use only a shorter version).

- However, according to the French national library, there was a third author Lancelot Turpin de Crissé, 1716?-1795?. This is the author of most of the books that are on GR. There is a French Wikipedia page.
Added a bio to his profile: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

- Lancelot-Théodore, Comte de Turpin de Crissé (9 July 1782, Paris – 15 May 1859) is the author of multiple books, two of those are on GR.
Added a bio to his profile: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

- Henri-Roland-Lancelot, marquis Turpin de Crissé (19 May 1754 - c.1800) contributed to one book according to BNF, which is not on GR.
