I was wondering how people tagged their booksss? So what colours do you use, how do you tag a paragraph, a quote, a favourite scene?

if you’re talking about annotations, it depends on the book for me. I use tabs, a pen, highlighter, and an index card. On the index card, I make a key for my tabs and tape it to the inside cover. I use the pen to make brackets for paragraphs and highlighter if it’s less than 3 lines. I hope that makes sense!

i highlight quotes, annotate comments (w/ pencil) and use colored tabs! blue = made me sad/angry/annoyed, yellow = important for the plot, green = quotes and pink = favorite moments. if i annotate smth i probably also put a tab, hope this helps :)

HOW I ANNOTATE MY BOOKS!
I use coloured sticky tabs to annotate my books, nothing special just $2 from kmart. They don't leave any marks on the paper and are semi transparent so can be read through!
PINK: Romance/Sweet moments ❤️
ORANGE: Spice 🔥
YELLOW: Random quotes I like 👍
GREEN: Plot twists 🥨
BLUE: Sad moments 😥
DARK PURPLE: Funny moments 🙂
LIGHT PURPLE: Jaw drop moments 😲

i highlight and/or underline quotes that i like. i tab quotes/scenes that i love a lot.

i just use metal/aluminum book darts for parts that really get my attention in the book. I don’t really annotate besides that.
