Btw Alice, I'm making a unicorn if that's fine, just since your making a dragon and I gave you information. Could you give me any you have on the unicorns?

the unicorns are pretty much dispersed and there are no rulers anymore, though there are the ruins on a small island (unicorns were a small species to begin with, so the kingdom had not been very populated)

when the unicorns were alive, they were quite secretive and a bit of a myth among the other kingdoms. they at one point had very strong magic and could cast spells (their religion, not the actual magic they were born with. like casting spells type) which brought them protection from invaders n such. but the magic weakened over time as more became curious and left for the mainland. people soon discovered the unicorns were real and they were sought after for their horns (used for makeup, remedies, etc) and would be hunted down. once they couldn't hide their island anymore they were all murdered or sold on the black market, leading to most of them succumbing to death.
some escaped this fate when they were the first to leave, managing to have children with other species until you got people like rosemary with a very small hint of unicorn in her. though some managed to escape and create pure breds.

they are thought to be pretty much extinct, so full unicorn species are VERY rare and most unicorns will likely be cousins of some sort to other unicorns, whether distant or close. i don't really want a lot of pure breds and not many unicorns in general, though def only a few pure ones.

they're sought after and if they have a noticeable unicorn characteristic then it will be dangerous for them to be in high crime areas or on their own without protection.
unicorns age slower, but are not immortal and not to the rate of dragons. at first they age normally, but in their 20s, 30s, and 40s will remain appearing 20 and then start to appear older afterward, though not at a rapid rate and very slow. they'd live to like 110.
the rulers of their ancient past were high priestesses and it was very matriarchal.
in the ruins on the unicorn island there's a few books documenting the spells cast n how it worked a little so if an oc wanted to learn how to cast magic that'd be fun :)

so obviously unicorns are kinda based off of pagan stuff so yuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh go off that but make it more fairy tale and pastel

Thx! Yeah, I have a picture I found for the character and her unicorn appearance, it would be more like the second species considering the horn is curved rather then straight
