the creature alliance - semi advanced discussion

“Lay down and take a nap..” She mumbled to no one in particular, twisting onto her side and letting her tail wrap around her.

Aurelia pushed the doors to the library open, a cold expression on her face. She needed answers. Her time spent spying on people made her feel the need to go re-read information on how the alliance originally formed. She moved towards a bookcase, however quickly stopped when she noticed Willow on the floor.
"My queen, are you alright?" she asked, kneeling down in front of her. Her research could wait for later, especially if it was Willow who she was spending time with. Aurelia felt honored to bask in the presence of such a beautiful and amazing person, even if she was drunk.

Red gave her a sloppy smile, letting her arms flop back.
“Hi, ‘Relia. I’m doing juuuuust fine, but I can’t get up. Don’t worry so much about me.” She yawns on her last word, her eyes half-lidded and her words slurred with sleepiness and intoxication. She slipped a cigarette out of her pocket and a lighter, flicking it once or twice before it burned well enough to light it. Putting the lighter away, she put the cigarette between her lips and offered Aurelia a hand.
“Help. Or lay here. Your choice.”

(lol)
Aurelia smiled at the queen. It would be lovely to lie with the queen, even if it was just the floor, however, Aurelia knew her duties. Taking her hand, she pulled the queen up to her feet. She carefully wrapped her arm around Red's waist, keeping her upright. She transported her to a nearby chair before sitting down next to her.
"Apologies, but I don't think I get to choose whether or not to worry. You are my queen, and I'm required to serve you at all times. It's my job to worry." she said with a kind smile.
Aurelia looked out the nearby window to see what time it was. Dark, but not too dark. Definitely not the time anyone would go to bed at. She let out a sigh of relief, glad that she could chat with the queen for a while.

“Right. If I give an order, for you not to worry, would you follow?” She glances over to Aurelia, her head cocking just slightly that way. She was half asleep and it was barely evening. But she knew she wouldn’t sleep, she’d bake as many cakes needed to stay awake. It’s what she always did. It’s a win-win, no nightmares and a lot of cake.

"I suppose, if you were to give me an order not to worry, I could obey that," she said, giving a smile. "But if I do end up worrying, promise me you won't get mad? It's only natural for me to care because I-" Aurelia was about to say 'because I love you', but quickly stopped herself. "Because I'd die if you got in trouble." she stated calmly. Aurelia often had to stop herself from saying something like that, however, even if she tried to hide it, she thought it was obvious that she had feelings for Red.

“I’m always in trouble. With myself. But, I won’t get mad. I don’t have time to be mad at you. I’m already mad at everything else.” She glances over at Aurelia on her last statement, her pale cheeks dusting with pink at the words.
“Ah… you’d.. you’d survive without me. I think you would. You’re smart, and you’re quick. Two of the big things you need to be able to survive around here. So you’d be fine. I wouldn’t trust you with the title of my most trusted spy if I didn’t think you could survive on your own.”

Aurelia was just simply smiling on the outside, but inside, she could feel her heart swell up. "I'm honoured you feel that way about me," she said, giving Red a big smile. She should be thanking Red, however, because if it weren't for her love for the queen, she wouldn't try nearly as hard at everything she does.
Returning to what Red had first said, she placed her hand on the queens. "And if you ever need someone to vent to about your troubles, I won't be far away," she says with a comforting smile. She didn't want the queen to be upset. If something was troubling her, Aurelia would face it head-on and let the queen relax, even if that trouble was herself. She just wanted Red to be able to relax every now and then.

“Uh.. sure. Yeah. That’s fine.” She murmured, like the entire well-being of the kingdom didn’t rest in her hands.
“You- you don’t have to go. The mission is fine, I mean. Uh- yeah. Do that.”

Aurelia giggled. "Do you want me to stay with you a bit longer?" she asked Red. "You seem to have sobered up a little, but I would feel bad to just leave you here." Aurelia then notices her hand was still on top of Red's, and quickly moved her hand back, resting it on her lap.
Aurelia smiled as Red stumbled over her words. "You don't want me to leave, do you?" Aurelia asks Red. She then looked around the room, her eyes landing on the carpet Red had originally laid down on. She then glanced out the window once more. "I'd say it's a reasonable time to go to bed, if you're still tired. Would you like for me to draw you a bath?" Aurelia asked.
