Dewey's 24 Hour Read-a-Thon discussion

Who's awake? In the US at least it's early morning.

So who stayed up the whole time? If you did, do you always stay up the whole time? Tips and tricks?

I personally get some sleep to finish strong. This time I slept an extra two unplanned hours.

I'm barely puttering through my audiobook. I am trying to finish this last.book Coraline and then off to bed. Oh lovely bed.

As I started at 11pm on Saturday night I started with a sleep. Doing it a bit tough now, anyway. Got to prepare for work with my eyes on my cheeks. :)

I am still going strong and haven't needed a nap, so I think I should make it the full 24 hours. I have found that it helps to get plenty of sleep the day before, and I also don't read much the day before to rest my eyes. During the readathon, I switch reading formats frequently to keep things interesting.

The readathon started at 1pm my time but I was still out and started at 3pm instead. I'm going to extend my own readathon by those two hours and then take a well-deserved nap. I did manage a few hours of sleep last night this time though. Who knew reading for so long could be so exhausting??

Hours 20-24 (4 HOURS) Sunday 1 am - Sunday 6 am I was sleeping...lol

Wow!! I would love that this would be a TOTALLY different readathon if that were the case for me!!
