@Amelia, definitely there were a number of books I had hoped to read by the end of the year that didn't fit the prompts at all. I sadly brought them back to the library to try again later.

Luckily due to a ridiculous number of library books I have on hold or already own, I have a good variety of choice to suit my mood. Are you looking for recommendations or a buddy read on the options that you wouldn't normally read? I'm always happy to help problem solve but try to be mindful if isn't requested. :) What are you in the mood to read?

I'm very much a mood reader. i have the Ex Hex arriving at the weekend which I'm excited about and have a buddy read planned at the end of the month just struggling to fit what I read into a category

Hope you enjoy the The Ex Hex! I thought it was pretty cute and fun. It would work for When is This 1. Read a book that takes place during a holiday for Halloween.

We can try to help match up the books? It is tricky for a big category of books.
