basil "bas" nathair - 17 - genderqueer (closeted) [he/him/they/them/xe/xem] - gay (like really really gay, but also SUPER closeted) - prince of the snake kingdom
Bas Nathair is as loud as he is conniving, which is to say, xe's far from both. They absolutely detest large gatherings of people and does his best to stay in the background for if he somehow woefully finds himself among many people, xe starts to overthink so fast it puts those with super-speed to shame, their hands become clammy and trembling, and they can even start to feel their heartbeat. They're a very paranoid being, usually being plagued by memories of times where xe had most likely come off as strange or accidentally had found himself in the center of attention and had done something dumb, which just makes him relive that embarrassment over and over again.
Unfortunately for Bas, xyr's aversion to many people coupled with his very sharp and sudden movements, and the accidentally dark and almost scowl that can be found on his face when he is deep in thought only seems to reinforce his reputation as a malicious and cunning, well, snake, which is obviously far from the truth as xe's just an anxious child who just wants to get through the day without making a fool of themself.

calix - 19 - trans male [he/him though he doesn't mind being called by other pronouns] - demisexual and pan romantic - your local tired baker
Calix is a generally quiet and introverted person who doesn't necessarily enjoy being around other people except for the very few that he actually enjoys the company of. Because of his hulking figure, most would never think that he's actually a usually peace-making baker boi who just wants to make his delectable treats in peace. He also likes to box in a gym located near his house, but he sees it as a way to work out; not to strengthen his combat skills. When he loves you, he'll make it a point to make your favorite treats very often so on the off chance that you come and visit (he's a homebody), you'll get an affectionately made treat. He's quite protective of those he loves but is otherwise self-serving, and won't step in to stop arguments/fights unless he feels like he has to. He's also usually very tired and therefore has no energy to pretend to be anyone else or lie, so if he says that you look like a dump truck on a particular day, he's not saying to be mean but you know he's being honest which might be worse.
