15.2 - Endings and Beginnings.

Since this season of the SRC includes the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022, let's celebrate endings and beginnings.

Book 1 – read the final or most recently published book that is a primary work in a series - no prequels or .5's. This is meant to be an ending.

Book 2 – read the first book in a new to you series. REQUIRED: State in your post that this series is new to you.

REQUIRED: The series name and number must be listed in grayscale in parentheses, after the title. A series must have at least 2 primary works published to count

no. It won't count as a series unless more than one primary work has been published.

Fly (fly-me-to-the-moo) | 895 comments Is this acceptable for book 1? A Court of Silver Flames
It's #4 in the series, and the last one published, but #5 already has its own goodreads page (though no title listed yet)

Yes. Hopeful thinking doesn't count as being published!

Sorry, no, this is not a primary work in the series. You need the grayscale reference in parentheses and the series number.
