It's always great to have comfort reads, in my opinion. Besides, when you reread your favourites, you always find something new that you never paid attention to or that you have forgotten. I think you appreciate them more- at least that's what I think. :D

Glenn Wilson, | 25 comments I quit counting my reading of LOTR books when I was approaching 20 or so times and read that Christopher Lee read it multiple times each year (around 25 cycles at that time) as I realized what true obsession was…

A Voice on the Wind--Francine Rivers

The Horse and His Boy--C. S. Lewis

The Silver Chair--C. S. Lewis

The Secret Garden--Frances Hodgson Burnett

To Green Angel Tower--Tad Williams

The Bronze Bow--Elizabeth Geroge Speare

A Tale of Two Cities--Charles Dickens

Yes! If I read a book once and know it's one I'll reread I like to just buy the book when I'm ready to read it again.

message 83: by Avid Reader (new)

Avid Reader | 2 comments I reread The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings most frequently, seeing as I reread them every fall. This coming fall will be my fifth read through of The Hobbit, and fourth read through of the Lord of the Rings.
