Cordelia swam into the main square taking a deep breath. Please, god, don't let anyone recognize me. She was hyperventilating. The last time she was in this place was when it happened. She closed her eyes and tried to push her way through the crowd to examine the area where she was pulled into the cellar. She felt fear course through her body as she felt her skin collide with the commoners due to the overwhelming amount of people. She felt like turning around and swimming away as fast as she could, however knew she needed to stay strong. Closing her eyes and balling up her hands in a fist, she pointed at the cellar, then whispered to Eldoris, her voice shaky. "I-I-I-In t-there-" She said as quickly as she could.
Eldoris swam slightly in front of her with his arm out to protect her. Many residents stopped and bowed at the two, recognizing them as royalty. He stared straight ahead, not getting caught up in the fame like how many other royals seemed to act. Eldoris gritted his teeth seeing Cordelia's pained expressions and was constantly reassuring her that she could go back if she wanted, but his brave little sister persevered.
When he saw the door to the cellar, his blood ran cold. It felt like some demon lurked in there and made him, like his sister, want to swim back to the confines of their palace. But he couldn't let her continue to suffer. No, he needed vengeance.
He examined the building surrounding it and saw that it appeared to be one of the older apartment complexes with vintage designs. Only those with wealth could afford to stay here. He took hold of Cordelia's hand and swam closer, then put his head to the wooden door. He heard a slight rummaging inside and dug his nails into the wood, breathing a little harder than usual.
"Cordelia, someone's in there," he breathed, staring at her with wide eyes.

"I-Inside?" Cordelia's heart stopped and her eyes started to tear up. She wanted to curl up into a ball and cry, but now was not the place nor time for that. She quickly observed her surroundings. Grabbing a hammer from a nearby construction site that was fixing one of the old buildings, she aimed it at the door, as if she was going to be breaking it down. Suddenly, her arms dropped.
"W-what am I thinking?!" she quietly whispered. Cordelia had always tried to be peaceful and kind her entire life, and here she was, about to break down a door? Yes, the person inside of the room did some cruel things to her, but it was her fault for not being careful. Wait... d-did I just steal the hammer?! Oh god! Cordelia thought, quickly returning the hammer to the exact location it was in before. I should let Eldoris deal with this. His decision would be smarter than bursting in headfirst, I hope
Eldoris watched her take the hammer and smiled a little at the ferocity in her. Bashing him in the head with a hammer wasn't such a bad idea.
"You're thinking the right thing, Cordelia," Eldoris said, but knew she was panicking. He nodded a bit when she placed it back, understanding her odd love for commoners. He flexed his arm a bit and grinned. "We don't need a hammer anyways. I'm skilled and I'm sure you are, so whatever is inside won't be any match for us." He meant it. The man in that cellar may have taken so much from Cordelia, but he hadn't taken the girl he knew. Now it was time for Eldoris to make sure he wouldn't ever take any more from anyone.
He tried the handle and felt it was unlocked. "You ready?" he asked, hand ready to swing it open.

Cordelia shivered. What if this was a bad idea? What if he gets hurt? She would have to live with that responsibility for the rest of her life. Even though she hated the idea of hurting someone, she reached into her purse to grab a sharp turquoise shell. "I-I'm ready." she said, trying to be brave. This whole time she had been hiding from the world, thinking the best way to cope was to run away from her problems, but now that it's right in front of her, she knew that this was the right thing to do. She gave Eldoris a nervous smile before he knocked down the door, then came to a stop when she saw the man inside. Fear kicked into her and she felt as if she was frozen in time. All she could think of was that moment that happened so long ago. She was seven. It wasn't fair.
Eldoris looked down on the man from the top steps, glaring imperiously on him.
"The Arnav family doesn't take kindly to rapists," he boomed, dark brown eyes shadowed in darkness. His hands lay calmly by his sides and his tail casually swayed in the water. Several passerby stopped to see the commotion, unsure of what was happening.
Eldoris was boiling with a white hot rage that spilled all over him, only being kept together by the years he spent training for this. To be king. To be feared. In the moment there was nothing to distract him. The world melted away and all he could focus on was what he'd do next.
The man in the cellar could only stare with bug eyes, tail rigid. "S-sir, I mean, Prince! Prince Eldoris, heir to the throne, w-why, I apologize if this is rude, but what ever do you mean?" he asked, stumbling over each word. The guilt was clear. He knew. He knew, he knew, he knew, he knew.
Something snapped.
In less than a second, Eldoris felt his hands on the man's throat. Squeezing, tighter, tighter. The world around seemed to blur. The man who hurt his sister would pay with their blood.

Cordelia dropped to the ground, staring at the scene that took place in front of her. She normally would jump in, but she felt satisfaction watching the events unfold. She slowly went down the stairs into the cellar, gripping the long, sharp shell tightly. She stared at the man as he thrashed around in the water. Suddenly, a thought popped into her mind. She needed to know. "H-h-how many?" she asked, her voice breaking. She wanted to help those who were hurt by this thing.
Quickly, she turned around to the commoners behind her. She didn't know what to say. All she could do was quickly ask, "Does anyone know this man?". Cordelia didn't know how to word the mix of emotions she was feeling. She felt confident and brave, but tears were streaming down her face. It was certainly odd. When one small girl, about four or five years old stepped forwards, she felt a brand new level of rage emerge from deep inside of her. She just stepped forwards and gave the girl a big hug. She needed it, definitely. Cordelia knew her hurt. She could relate to her pain, and it was horrifying that he had done it again. God, maybe there were even people before her that had gone through it as well. She smiled at the girl before turning around and, with a cold expression on her face, used her water manipulation powers to attempt to twist the man from the inside out. If up to 60% of the human body was water, and he was a fish, it definitely had to work. And it did.
Cordelia suddenly realized what she had done. "O-o-oh my god... I'm a murderer... o-oh god... I've never taken someone's life before..." dropping to the ground, Cordelia covered her face and began to cry. She had vowed to be kind to everyone, no matter what. She broke that promise.
Eldoris continued to squeeze, then heard Cordelia's voice break through the sound of his blood pumping. He loosened his grip and then yelled, "How many, old man?! You heard the princess! How FUCKING MANY?" His nails dug into the front leaving a crescent wound.
He didn't hear or see what Cordelia was doing at that moment, but was awaiting the fearful man's response. He quivered in the prince's grip, barely being able to meet his eyes.
"I-I don't remember how many . . . Prince, spare me. Oh Lords please spare me!" he cried out, his hands clasped in prayer. But no gods would hear him now.
"You don't remember?" was all Eldoris said. He almost laughed at how horrible the response was and the implications that came with it. He turned to his sister, face quirked in a sinister smile. She was already there, using her water manipulation on the man. He quickly stepped away from the thing that man was becoming, making a repulsed expression.
"You're not a murderer. You can't murder trash," Eldoris said as he rubbed her back. He wouldn't allow his sister to feel any part to blame for this. It wasn't something to be ashamed of, but something to be celebrated. She had won.
"Cordelia, what just happened was a miracle. I'm so glad that filth is gone, his rotten insides being revealed to the public. I know it's horrible, but now he's gone for good. Think of the people he'd have continued to hurt if we let him live."

Cordelia lifted her head a little. She smiled at him. "Yeah, I guess you're right." she sniffled. Cordelia then turned to the girl who had stepped forwards earlier. She looked around in her purse for a few seconds, then sighed and pulled a hairclip out of her hair. She smiled sweetly, handing the girl the hairclip. "If you ever want to talk, I'll be here. I know your pain." Cordelia whispered as she hugged the girl before returning to Eldoris's side.
"What are we going to do now?" she asked, her voice still shaky, however more confident than before. She felt ready to face anything, however knew that Eldoris did juet get back no too long ago.
He saw Cordelia speaking to the little girl reassuringly and shuddered, hoping his thoughts were just him jumping to conclusions.
"Well, we should dump him somewhere. I don't want someone be forced to clean up this mess. And then we should probably stop by and eat something. Turns out it's quite taxing to kill a rapist." Saying the last word made him clench his teeth together, feeling that just saying it would make it too real.

Cordelia smiled at the girl before responding to Eldoris. "Where would we put him? I was thinking we could swim up close to land and push him up there. Would you like to stop by the kelp eatery after we deal with the body? That'd be relaxing."
"Yeah, that's a good idea. Let the land lovers deal with it," he said and swam towards the corpse while holding his breath. Blood bloomed around his body like roses. It was a dreadful kind of beauty.
Quickly, he lifted up the body, made weightless by his buoyancy in water. "The Kelp Eatery sounds good," he answered. The two began swimming upwards towards the beach, a trail of red in their wake.
((so time skip to kelp eatery??))
