The time and date doesn't apply to IRL and will actually start on December 2. We'd like active members to do this roleplay seeing as it will have a lot of people involved. You have to have more than one OC at the ball and responses must be 6+ sentences. If you take more than 8 hours to respond, your turn will be skipped. If you aren't going to respond, let people know. The timezone is EST, and if your timezone is very different then please let people know so your turn doesn't get skipped.

Mod Applications

Okaaaaaay . . . so this has been a long time coming. I'm going to be away soon for a bit and my activity will decrease by a bit, so I'm going to need someone to be mod.

Basically, my requirements are that you be quite active on this group and enforce rules. That means correcting errors people might make or letting the ballroom chat know when someone has skipped or their time is up so there isn't confusion.
If you aren't sure about the answer to someone's question, I'd suggest you wait for me to respond since I won't be completely gone.
Also, make sure to roleplay with people when they ask. I want to keep this group active so if no one is roleplaying with someone who is asking, do it. :) So if you're pretty stressed out and have a lot of RPs going on, I might not apply.

You can respond to this or DM me why you'd be a good mod and I'll pick one. Ask any questions if you need to as well!

I mean, I really really love this group, but as I said, I might possibly be leaving Goodreads. I do leave, I'd leave next year at some point. Also, saying it now, I will be going on a summer hiatus unless something comes up.
I have a contact email for people I don't know irl if anyone wants to stay connected during that time.
But anyways! This group is the group I'm most active in and I love seeing it that way. I know you suggested not to apply if we're stressed out and busy, but honestly, I'm always so busy and pretty stressed out. But I deal with it.

Since most of you guys gave pretty terrible reasons, I had to look at just how you interact on the group and that's how I made my decision. :)

Levana - Because you advertised the group and have just been super supportive :) even if you can't roleplay a lot I think that you'd make a really good mod.

Greta - You're super dedicated to the group and like are on it 24/7 and can handle a lot, so I think that you'd just be pretty amazing for the group.

Okay, I 100% should've said something earlier, but I was busy and couldn't. Now that I have time, I can finally type this out.
I don't want to sound mean or anything, however, this is a semi-advanced group. Therefore, one liners are not allowed. I think this was already made clear in the rules section that all of you hopefully read and signed, but I've been seeing some roleplays that involve one liners. If you don't know what else to put and would like an example of a way to make your responses longer, please try looking at someone else's roleplay.
Another thing I'd like to say- please do not speak or place your oc in a roleplay that's already active without informing all the people in the roleplay. I believe this should be obvious, however, I have seen some things like this happen. If you want to be included in a roleplay, just ask! It confuses the people in the roleplay greatly.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. I'd once again like to state that I'm not trying to sound mean towards people that do this/have done this, It's just a friendly reminder! I don't really want to call anyone out on here because I don't want the person/people to feel uncomfortable or have anyone be mean to them (not that any of you would do that, you're all amazing people).

To all my lovely newcomers, I apologize if you had issue figuring out the plot. Goodreads hid a whole folder called Roleplaying Information! If that caused confusion, I am so sorry. If you ever feel like info is lacking, I'd use the option 'search discussion posts' and put in keywords that might help you find the topics you are looking for. And always let me know if you think more stuff should be put out! It helps this group thrive.

On another note, this weekend I will be inactive and so will Artemis. I hope I can be on somewhat, although a majority of my time will be taken up with other things. Thank you for reading this! :)
