Rules1. You can only look in your/your little sister's topic! Some letters may be personal and we don't want to invade their privacy.
2. Little sisters can answer questions, but big sisters can only answer more vague questions. Obviously, little sisters cannot ask questions like "What is your name?" or "Who are you?" but questions like "What's your favorite color?" or "What are some of your hobbies?" are allowed. If for whatever reason your sister doesn't want to answer a question, they don't have to!
3. Follow all of the group rules! The group rules ALWAYS apply, even in fun things like this.
How do I apply to be a big sister
Good question!
Pretty much, I will pair an older girl with a younger girl. The older girl is the big sister, and the younger one the little sister.
The big sister will send their little sister letters about themselves (so they can figure out who they are) and ask their little sister questions. The little sisters will answer questions and tell them their prayer requests. The big sister knows who their little sister is, but the little sister doesn't know who their big sister is. And at the end, we have a little celebration and figure out who our sisters were!
We will have a secret sister folder and each little sister has their own topic with their name as the title. The big sisters will pm me their letters, and I will paste the big sister's letters there, and the little sisters respond in that same topic.
Each older sister is required to write at least 8 letters, so two a week. We will start November 20th, and on the second to last day, December 19th, all of the little sisters guess who the big sister is. Then on December 20th, the older sisters will send their last letters, and at the end, instead of being signed "Love, Your Big Sister" it will be signed "Love, (your name)".
And at the end, you end up not only knowing a lot about each other, but you have a friend!
