The reason I picked my blog name is because I have had to say a few goodbyes in the last 5 years. some good ones and some sad ones. I had to say goodbye to my brother. I also said goodbye to God and to my childhood and then I said goodbye to the home I had lived in all my life. I said goodbye to trust and faith in people. I lost my hope in life. I said goodbye to my abuser. I said goodbye to sleeping . this year I said goodbye to my bitter heart. This year i fund God. I can't live with out him he is the one who is healing my heart and is helping me trust in people. he is the one who helped me forgive. goodbyes are so hard. but if we are trusting in God goodbyes can be easier to go though. that doesn't mean that they aren't still heard but at least we have him to lean on.

Happy Thanksgiving a day late Lol. My family has always had Thanksgiving on Saturday. Thanksgiving is a vary hard time for me it was the first holiday I had with out my brother and every year after some thing bad has happed during the Thanksgiving time. so I have a hard time being happy having fun and being thankful. all I feel during this time is sadness. My family does not get it. I wish I didn't have to have Thanksgiving ever again. Hope all of you guys had a good Thanksgiving.

Gracel, I get it!
My grandpa died a few years ago, and every holiday we get together, whether it be Thanksgiving or Christmas or Easter, it feels lonely without him. Like we shouldn't be celebrating because we're forgetting a family member. And I can't imagine losing someone so close.
I am continuing to pray for you and your grief. I have only had a small taste of it, and I can only imagine how hard it is to have an immediate-family member pass away.

`How do you say goodbye to your best friend the person you love more than any thing in this world. the person you told all your secret's hope's and dreams. the person who is the other half of your self. the person who taught you to do every thing in life, who played with you your hole life. the person you would die for. how does someone take all that love. and return it with hate and abuse, when all you did was love her with the faith of a child. never believing that your sister would hurt you. saying goodbye to my abuser also meant I said goodbye to my relationship with my best friend my sister. not talking to your sister is the hardest thing in life. not seeing your sister because every time you do you have a mental brake down, how do you say goodbye to fear, how do you trust again, when you have been used.

Hate is a hard thing to let go of. I have a lot of hate in my life, hate for my sister hate for my brother and hate at my mom. my sister for hurting me, my brother for leaving me, ad my mom for not believing me. hating makes you hurt inside, so every day I try to let go of some of that hate. I try to move on but it is so hard some times.

Hey guys, I hope you all had a great day I did my church had a Christmas tea to day it was so fun. today I also went to see my brother if you didn't know he died 5 years ago. I went there to talk to him I know he isn't there but it helps, as I was kneeling in front of his grave I thought about his life and how hard it was to say goodbye to him. I mostly thought about my Christmas memories with him. Henry loved being with family and friends eating food and playing games. I told him that every day the pain of missing him gets worse not better like people said it would. why because he's not here. every thing is happing with out him, like my brother playing football me sing in church or my dad retiring. he will never see me get my divers license get my first car or beat up the first boy who brakes my heart or met my husband or my kids. behand every moment in my life there is a shadow of him not being there to tell me that it's going to be ok and that he loves me. I will never understand why he did what he did. no matter who you are, when you lose some one you love you feel like your world is over. I can't tell that your going to stop cry and asking God why, but I can tell you that God is there for you and he will never go you more then you can handle.
