the creature alliance - semi advanced discussion

Esperanza walked with Ivy towards the center of the village, dragons had stopped to look at Ivy in shock, confusion and all sorts of other unexplainable emotions. What was the Dreamer Esperanza doing with this serpent? Where did she come from? Is she friendly? These thoughts were those of the adult dragons and dragonnesses. What is that? Who is that? Can it speak? Is it like one of the tiny snakes you see in the tall grass and water, but not really? Were the thoughts of the dragonets.
Moving up the steps of the building, it was enormous, made of stone and marble. It was the most advanced building in the city, and clearly the statement of the village. A tired Esperanza opened her clawed palm and pressed it to the center of the doors, it's tall carvings shifting as it opened slowly. She motioned for Ivy to follow her inside.
Ivy stared back at anyone who stared, that was something she couldn't handle, people staring just got on her nerves so much, she never could handle that. She thought the walk was fine, but she didn't like the staring, even if it was just curious children.
She looked up at the building, confused how she hadn't noticed it before. It was so big and would draw anybody's eyes towards it, but then again, she never really as the best at spotting things. She wordlessly follow Esperanza inside, unsure what all there might be there, but still, it'd be fun.

This building was the most modern in appearance, compared to the more quaint minka neighborhoods of the village. Once inside it was evidence through simply the aura of the building, and everything the eye could see that it was full of magic. Decorative waterfalls, moved up the walls rather then down, books and scrolls flew through the air at either slow speeds or tremendous speeds that Esperanza had to swat one out of the way before it could hit her in the head. Dragons of all ages, mostly older, walked around holding books, or materials for medicine and spells, whimsical is a way you could put it.
"Welcome to the knowledge hall," "Where I was raised," Esperanza announced.
She looked away from Ivy to see one of the walls open up into a doorway that hadn't been there before, an older dragonness stepping out. Her face full of wisdom, her outfit extravagant and elegant, other dragons bowing as she moved towards the pair.
She jumped at the sudden book flying by. "Fucking god." Ivy was trying her best to remain calm, although the interior of this place was just so odd. She hadn't seen anything like it before, but that's what made it better. She stopped for a moment before saying, "It seems like it'd be interesting to be raised here." Ivy was honestly distracted by everything in here, it was just such an interesting place, she hadn't seen anything as interesting as this place.

Esperanza shrugged, and looked down at Ivy,
"Lots of rules, and I guess it was, better then being with the parents that didn't want me," she commented.
She looked up to see the elder and leader of the dragons, and bowed her head respectfully, even though the dragoness was blind. Two other dragons followed her closely, helping her alone so that she wouldn't hurt herself.
"Good to see you Esperanza," the elder greeted.
"The same to you, grand elder Vesta," she returned in greeting.
