2025 Reading Challenge discussion

How is everyone doing with their annual challenge? The year is close to an end.

I had to cut mine from 90 to 80 as i realized that I wasn't going to meet my goal but I'm 90% done with it now.

86% and on a roll to finish my goal this year.

I'm 97% done and currently reading the last book for my challenge.

Im 50% and hoping i can make it.

Hi all! I've moved this discussion to the "Let's Chat!" folder.

I started very low number in my annual challenge this year, but I'm finally reading on a regular basis, so I've upped it a few times! Yay! This was probably helped by joining a couple of book clubs a few months ago and joining in on some of the monthly challenges here.

I think it went from 10 books to 20 to 30 to 40? I'm at 37 of 40 (93%) with at least 5 that I should finish before the end of the year, hopefully more.

I'm not changing the planned total again, though: I like the look of surpassing my plans...!

I’ve read 67 out of 40, so I’d say it’s going rather well! I didn’t up my goal when I reached it and am actually planning to not set a number goal at all next year. I’ll set it to 1 book and we’ll see what happens.

I set my goal at 30 books this year and I'm at 93 now so you might say I am doing alright lol Now I am hoping to reach 100 by New Year's Eve. Let's see what happens!! Good luck to everyone trying to meet their goals in time but remember the true joy is in reading itself.

Wow everyone y’all are really moving through these challenges! I also wasn’t sure I could reach my goal. I started with 24 (2 per month) and surprised myself by blowing past that. Next year I’m going to up it a little. If you haven’t reached it yet…no sweat! Enjoy the journey anyway as I’m sure you’ve read some amazing things this year. I for sure am happy with some of the books I’ve discovered this year.

I finished my challenge today.

I'm at 126/90 so its been a good reading year for me.

22 of 35 as of today. Probably not going to make it.

I'm close.....113 just shy of my goal of 120.

I've read more this year than I have in a long time. I set my goal for 100 and have finished 142. WooHoo! I also completed the Popsugar reading challenge. I have never tried reading challenges before, but I think I'm hooked LOL

Wow! I did a lot of reading, mainly fictional/ paranormal this year. but I've completed my goal of 109/80! ;-)
