spoko (spokospoko) | 231 comments If anyone has read all 3, how important would you say it is to read the first two Amgash books before Oh William!?

message 7: by Gina (new)

Gina Whitlock (ginawhitlock) | 2267 comments It might help. I've read all her books and it's like getting together with an old friend. You might go back to something that happened long ago, but then, with a little explanation, you just jump right in.

Molly (Wade) Jennings (goodgmissm) | 41 comments I think I may actually be able to participate now. I have had several years of not being able to focus on anything like reading or knitting, my two great loves, for many reasons. looking forward to rejoining the discussions here!

Lynn | 2297 comments Good golly, Miss Molly! Welcome back! This is a crazy time - Steve (Wild Man) and Dan have just come back too.

Lynn | 2297 comments Apparently there was some confusion about which books are scheduled for April and May. I saw a post from Ruth introducing her nomination (A History of Loneliness a couple of days ago even though it was originally listed for May. She's since taken that note down after realizing her error.

As it turns out, Gina isn't ready to discuss Oh, William! yet because she needs to get the book back from the library and she would like to have the group go ahead with A History of Loneliness for April and start her nomination in May.

message 12: by Lynn (new)

Lynn | 2297 comments Sorry for all the continuing confusion! Ruth has pointed out that moving A History of Loneliness up to April would cause problems for people who haven't read it yet because they were expecting to discuss it in May.

I guess we'll go back to the original schedule and see if we can get the discussion of Oh, William! going now even though it's a late start.
