E This is a little niche but does anyone have recommendations for subterranean horror? I keep returning to The Descent by Jeff Long, & I just finished Nogglz by Walsh.

Marie | 4030 comments This was a good book and I enjoyed it. I actually need to do a reread of it as there are two more books that follow it.

Harvest Deep (Harvest Deep, #1) by Trent Pettry Harvest Deep by Trent Pettry

Scott Neumann (scottneumann) | 480 comments These are some I've read and think are pretty good...

Midnight's Lair, by Richard Laymon
Savage Species, by Jonathan Janz
Sunblind, by Michael McBride Some of this book takes place in s cave system with something lurking in the dark)
Untcigahunk: Stories and Myths of the Little Brothers, by Rick Hautala
Children of the Dark, by Jonathan Janz
Subterranean, by James Rollins, (more a horror action type thriller)
Subterrestrial, by Michael McBride

Hope this helps.

I have read it this year for a "group read with author" here on HA and Piper quickly became one of my favorite authors. It is cosmic horror and set underground New York.
