Thanks for volunteering. I will start you a thread so that Diane doesn't do it.

The TBR # for January 2022 is 17. Hope you all have your lists ready!

Nike | 98 comments Well, how do I proceed now? I DID make a list ... I just forgot to publish it here, I have it as a list on my computer. Is it to late to publish it here?

message 6: by Nike (new)

Nike | 98 comments Oh, what a luck! I see now that I can post it until the 25th, and since it's still the 25th where I am (in Sweden) I can still post it! =)

It was suppose to be before the 25th, you can post but technically you should not be able to read January's book. But if you didn't look at the number I guess it would be okay.

I read your note and I guess it will be okay as you had your 17 already picked out.

One can always post a list, they just omit numbers of months already called.

I'm glad that a number below 21 was drawn! Because I noticed that the list I had made consisted of 20 books instead of 24, and when I hurried to ad four extra I added two that I then noticed was already on the list, so I had to edit it in a hurry. But nr 17 was there so I can relax =)

Aha, ok - I haven't really got a hung of this since I manage to confuse a few groups I'm a member of. So is it like this that one gets points or something? In one group the TBR is something that one does for oneself only and in another group the challenge where one reads according to numbers is called something else. I need to make perfect notes every month so I don't mix the different challenges with each other.

This one is for points and they are progressive, a person starts over if they miss a month. See the descriptor for complete details.

Ok, thanks. I will look it up.

Were there any volunteers for moderating March books?

message 16: by George P. (last edited Mar 11, 2022 10:12AM) (new)

George P. | 726 comments I just started the audiobook of Underworld, our upcoming quarterly book- 31 hrs, but only 25hrs by turning it up to 125% speed. I guess I can read it in six weeks.
I'm not going to read the March books but have started (about 1/4 so far) on The Drunkard/ L'Assommoir for April.
