I haven't read The Hunger Games yet! I realllyyyyy want to tho!!!I neeeeeed to be in the agrument about Peeta and Gale!!!
I Strongly disagree. I LOVE Peeta. but moving on.....what are everyone's thoughts on the Movies vs. the Books? (I.e. which did you like better, is there one you prefer but really enjoyed in the other? etcetera....?
I read all the books, but I didn't like the last two. I might watch the movie for it, but it might be kinda disturbing. TEAM GALE!!!

I still like Glad better because part of me refuses to acknowledge the other books, because I didn't like them. So when I say Team Gale! I mean book one Gale. The other Gale disappointed me and it felt like the author ruined his personality. Gale could have been so sweet and supportive, but the author wrote him to be angry and frustrated.

Peeta is horrible!! Gale rocks, he can protect katniss. Peeta had to get protected by katniss because he couldn't protect himself.
Plus if peeta dies, he could be a martyr for the rebels cause and katniss could marry Gale.

This pretty much sums up how i think it should end. Its super slow, and there is more than one paragraph, so wait for it to load before giving up all the way.

I think Peeta should have just died in the first book. Peeta eats the berries but Katniss stops right before Peeta realizes what she did.
In the link i posted, he has Peeta, Johanna and Annie shot on public television which i don't like because i love Johanna and i love Finnick who loves Annie.

Its the end of Katniss & Peeta's first hunger games. Katniss pulls the berry prank and Peeta gulps his berries, she puts the berries to her face but does not eat them. Peeta dies, and Katniss is declared winner. She isn't happy about it, but she knew she couldn't die, not with her sister and mother who need her.
In catching fire, the quarter quell could be totally different. Previous tributes may not have to go back, nothing defiant happened in the first one. But say they are brought back. Haymitch is now D12's tribute. Plutarch saves them in the end, just like before. Haymitch manages to escape with Katniss. Plutarch knew he was important. Peeta is the martyr for their rebellion. Coin uses his face to show everyone how cruel and desperate the capitol can make people. Mockingjay happens pretty similar, only Gale and Katniss end up together.

Or peeta stays alive until catching fire, when he bumps into the electrocution thing (its late, so i cant think of the name now) Finnick cant save him. He can still be the face of the rebellion.

No, ew peeta fr. He's disgusting, boring, and useless. His charming skills might work with the capitol, but any time he might use them against a district person or peacekeeper, it probably won't work.

I don't hate him THAT much. I just prefer Gale.
personally i like Gale better, he’s more my type but…. i think Peeta was better for Katniss because he knows what she went through and was there for her through it all, or most of it.
