It looks like you'll get a nice mix with your challenge Jackie. I look forward to seeing what books you complete.

Sounds like me, Jackie. I always have a difficult time; that's why I just throw a bunch of stuff against the wall and see what sticks.

This time I hope a LOT of them stick. I need to get rid of so many books.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 800 comments Hopefully you can get some more inspiration, there are so many other things at this time of year that need focus/time.

Lea (leaspot) | 3640 comments Jackie, I have such a hard time deciding on my list for 2022 also. I am still trying to decide if I want to read the last Outlander book by Diana Gabaldon. I've loved everything I've read by Irving Stone, and more is on my TBR. It's been awhile since I picked up Jodi Picoult. John Jakes has been sitting on my shelf reproaching me for years. I seriously think it might be the book I've had on my shelves the longest - maybe since 1990 - and never read. For the first time in a long time, I don't have Stephen King on my individual list and I really miss it. Good luck with your books, I hope you have fun!

John Jakes is an excellent writer. I remember waiting until he had published his most recent book before starting to read the previous book because I didn't want to have to wait so long in between books. Convoluted thinking I know!

Martha (marthas48) | 767 comments You are singing my song, Jackie! My bookcase is packed with books I need to read. I keep trying, but keep buying, too. Good luck with your challenge!

Not convoluted at all. I do the same thing. Therefore, it is perfectly logical. :-) :-) :-)
