Felicia | 15003 comments Throughout the course of this challenge, teams will be working together to complete different sets of prompts that are all about starting the new year fresh. A lot of people make the same types of resolutions each year when New Years comes around. Well, that’s exactly what we’re going to be doing this challenge.

Teams will get 15 sets of prompts with ten categories in each set to complete. Each set is based on common resolutions that people make. **See prompts below

RULES:

Once a prompt is started your team MUST post all ten books for that prompt before starting on another prompt.

Prompts can be completed in any order that the team wants. *see next rule*

Prompts cannot be completed one after the other of the same prompt. Meaning if you complete the ‘exercise’ prompt you must complete a different prompt before going back to exercise.

While working on your current prompt all tasks are repeatable. Meaning if your team is working on ‘Lose Weight’ and you have a book that works for ‘MC is plus sized’ but someone else on your team also has a book for that category, you may both post for that category while you’re still working on the ‘Lose Weight’ prompt. This means that your team could potentially post more than 10 books while working on one prompt. **However, as soon as the 10th category is posted for your team must move onto the next prompt.**

For this challenge, all members MUST complete the “How It Fits” when posting their books on their teams review thread.

Members will be split into even teams.

Please comment here to sign up, when signing up please let me know how many books you plan to read for each of the months that the challenge goes for. Don’t forget any holidays/birthdays you may celebrate during the course of the challenge! :)
**It’s better to lowball your number than to write you’re going to read more books than you actually will, you won’t be letting your team down that way.**

Example:
January - 20 books
February - 15 books
March - 15 books

Teams will receive a SS closer to the start date of the challenge in order to keep track of their books posted since once you start a prompt, the 10 categories for that prompt must be finished before moving on to another prompt.

**Prompt sets are repeatable and can be done in any order.

If you have questions about the challenge please post them here. :)

Nope, no bonus points since there's only ten prompts per category. Just go with the flow and read what your heart desires. Lol.

Kade Gulluscio (kadebraylen) | 3757 comments I’ve never participated, and I’m still a little confused as to how this works. If I commit to say 3 books per month, can I do more or does that not matter? Do we choose our own prompts or does the team decide together?

Hi Kade! You can definitely read more than you signed up for. It's just not great to read less than you sign up for.

Prompts are decided by teams and completed by the whole team. Once a prompt is started, each category can be posted for multiple times for that prompt. However, once at least one book has been posted for for each category of the prompt your team must move on to another prompt.
