I think not sure the story does not call the world China it is Mortal Realm and The Heavens things have Chinese names this is a Chinese novel after all

Are we required to write reviews for the books we read? I don't usually write reviews.

You can do reviews or status updates (about 4-5) for books.

Hi Alaina! During the challenge, do we get to do more than one appetizer? Or is it only one of each type of dish? Just trying to see if we should add more ingredients to the appetizer or move to the next one.

Super sorry for just getting to this Cynthia! I had a horrible migraine yesterday. So, the baskets will go in order throughout the challenge like so:

Basket #1 appetizer
Basket #2 entree
Basket #3 dessert
Basket #4 appetizer

and so on until the challenge ends.

As for the ingredients you gather, you can only use them for that basket. So, if you read for lemon while you are on the appetizer round you can't use it for dessert if it was already posted on your team's review thread and counted by me. If you want, you could add books to the banked tab on your team's spreadsheet until you really need those ingredients based on the basket. It's totally up to you.

There is no list.

REMEMBER:
*You only have to complete one of the two tasks for each ingredient.
*You have access to a stocked refrigerator and pantry. In order to use the ingredient that you want, you will need to find it with a book. Whether in text or on the cover.
*For example, if your team wants to use apples in your dish. You will need to either find “apple” in text or read a book with an apple on the cover.
*If you can’t find the item you want to use, you may read a book from any of the Food Book Lists. (When reading a book from this, please add the link to the list it is on and what item you are using. It doesn’t have to be found in text or on the cover either.)

Hi! I reviewed a Kindle Vella story (I've read all the episodes)

Bride of the Corpse King: A Hades and Persephone Retelling

Because Kindle Vella episodes don't show the page numbers, I was able to obtain the page number from the author 297 (double spaced)

The author sent me pdfs of the Kindle Vella episodes because I was a reviewer for her and I was unable to use the spoken content feature on IOS with the format of Kindle Vella so, I got the page number from those pdfs

Is there a way I need to prove this so my review can be counted? I can probably take screenshots of the pdf page numbers and send it to you via email or what's app or send you an email showing my messages from the author that she would send me these pdfs.
