Our Shared Shelf discussion

Does anybody else really wish that along with Want to Read, Currently Reading, and Read, there would be a Did Not Finish, possibly with a marker for how far you got? If I put it down it doesn't fit into any of those main three and makes me sad in any of them.

You actually can add more shelves beyond the three exclusive shelves of Read, To Be Read and Currently Reading. I believe the option to add more exclusive shelves is available only on a desktop though. You go to “My Books” and then click on “Bookshelves (Edit)” on the lefthand side of the screen at the top of the list of all your bookshelves. You will then be brought to a screen where you can edit your shelves, there you can add a shelf for DNF or any shelf you like. Once you have added the shelf, go down the list to the newly created shelf and make sure it is marked in the “exclusive” column with a checkmark. Then click “I’m done” and voila you have a DNF shelf separate from TBR, CR, or Read! :)

@Carey, thank you so much for this reply..for some reason, i knew about the customized shelves but never noticed/figured out the 'exclusive' option.. and @Julia, don't delete the thread please..i think a lot of people like you and i would also be happy to know how easy it was all along.. XD :D
