2025 Reading Challenge discussion

My New Year's resolution for 2021 was "Do not over-commit, but I burned out that year, anyway.
So I'm continuing last year's approaching of joining fewer yearly challenges but continuing to join one of our group's monthly and quarterly challenges each period with moderate goals.

I'm aiming at a Goodreads Reading Challenge goal of 107 books, which is twenty books less than what I've read so far in 2021.

I'll do all the links on a later date.

Rules
1. You may find up to THREE words per book.
2. State the book title and author, the sentence containing the word(s), and the location(s). Location may be given by page number, percentage. or LOC, allowing for print, audiobooks or ebooks.
3. For the main words, you may use the exact word or a modification of its root word to another part of speech, as long as the root meaning is the same. E.g., mystery, mysteries, mysterious, mystify, etc.
