It's nice to go back and look at all the data. I've kept all of the spreadsheets except 2018. For some reason I didn't save that one.

Very interesting history of reading data!

Wow Soo had slightly over 4100 points in 2020. That alone would place her in 3rd place for this past year's contest!

Soo went silent for 6 months in 2020, and came back with like 2000-3000 points... before that, I spent a month reading WORM, a 7000 page webnovel for crazy points... thought I had 1st place in the bag... it was a long month of reading to solidify my lead over Julia, Rob's daughter and newly minted Goodreads member this past year, now that she meets the age requirements for an account (13 I think?)...

I've been silently stalking the teams this year. I've sat out the past 2/3 years but I'm back to reading this year and hope to join the competition again next year.

All other 2022 reading competition threads have been moved to the archive. This thread will remain in the folder until the 2023 teams have been announced.

When are we getting our new spreadsheets?:)

Generally, 2 things need to happen, for me to release the spreadsheet...

1) I need to put the work in, cleaning the old sheet out that I duplicated as a base (hampered this year, by being sick)...

and

2) I need to hear something about the teams being decided/announced, so I can assign everyone to the right team...

Once one or both of those things happen, it shouldn't be long before the sheet is released... last year, I think Nikki emailed me the teams early, before the announcement, to give me a small headstart on spreadsheet setup... or maybe I just made that up in my head, I dunno...

Thank you! You guys are doing a great job! I am not pushing, just asking:)

I made a list of all the signups, so I can start wiping sheets and quarantining the people that didn't sign up, to be ready for the announcement, and ready for being ready to work on it :)

I do what I can... I've cleared most of my BRs/reading for the year, so I should have time in the next few days to prep the sheet and have it out on time, assuming teams are announced...

Wiped the sheet of all signups, hid the sheet of all non-signups, changed the start date to 2023...

All that's left to do is committing to deleting all the people who didn't signup (waiting as long as possible), deleting them from the Participant Data as well, and adding the 3 new/returning players, once they've been assigned to teams and I can copy the right color template...

And fixing whatever is wrong with row 79 on Frank's sheet, that had a note it was broken...

I'll take color/feature requests, once I setup the 2023 thread and share the sheet...
