Karen | 621 comments So sorry! I finished N for Night Sky with The Splendid and the Vile A Saga of Churchill, Family, and Defiance During the Blitz by Erik Larson , The Splendid and the Vile: A Saga of Churchill, Family, and Defiance During the Blitz by Erik Larson on 5/28. It never made it to my spreadsheet so I forgot to report back.

If you haven't read/listened to this book, I highly recommend it. Larson's research is always great but he really shines here and he writes nonfiction like he's writing a novel. I loved all of the detail and the inside scoop on not just the Churchills, but on his inside circle at 10 Downing Street. It was also gut-wrenching and a great read to finish over the Memorial Day weekend. Very emotional.
