Loraine (librarydiva) | 4439 comments This challenge will involve reading either fiction or non fiction books that include a famous person. This can be a person from past or present. Many historical fiction books are based on a famous person/persons or include them as secondary characters which you may also count. If there is more than one famous person in the book, you may count each one.

LEVELS:
1-10 - Just getting acquainted
11-15 - Meet and Greet
15-20 - Party Animal
25-30- I’m in the In Crowd
30+ - I’ve Made the Who’s Who

Should be either the main character or a secondary character.

I'm reading a book right now that would qualify for this challenge. Florence Nightingale is a large part of the story.

1) The Story of the Trapp Family Singers by Maria Augusta von Trapp --Famous people include Maria Trapp and her whole family. :)
2) Hope Valley War by Brock Thoene --Snowshoe Thompson, a famous person I had never heard of. Has anyone else, maybe someone who lives on the west coast?
3) Can't You Hear Me Calling The Life Of Bill Monroe, Father Of Bluegrass by Richard D. Smith --Bill Monroe, of course, along with every other popular bluegrass artist.
