Peyton, from a very young age, had been a pain in the ass for her parents. She was constantly sneaking out of her house to go to some party she wasn’t supposed to be, with people she wasn’t supposed to be with. She can’t say she was never caught, though- but it was just her luck that one of her siblings or friends of her family made an exception when it came to her and set her free. Not without telling her parents, though- which was perhaps worse because they did that thing where they applied both Candor and Erudite scoldings that it annoyed her.
It’s actually because of them that she’d get in trouble with the other kids. Not because they told her to, but because she would tell them the brutal truth in a way that irked everyone. The only reason they didn’t think she was Divergent then was because she’d always follow it with a punch or something.
When she isn’t working, Peyton spends her time working out or at some kind of party- but only after the new recruits become Dauntless members and she no longer has to make their life’s miserable. She’s actually quite flirty and fun, which never fails to surprise them. In a good way, obviously.
Her dating life is just that- dating. She never actually gets serious with anyone and would like to keep it like that, because it would just make everything weird and kill the fun of not owing anyone anything.

Kennedy was born and raised in the faction Dauntless, and decided to stay and help train the new Initiatives. Her parents came from the factions Candor and Erudite, which explain why she is Divergent. Her older brother and sister both live in Dauntless and currently patrol the city, keeping themselves busy with work while also keeping themselves excited with adventure. They have a good enough relationship with one another, making sure to meet up for dinner whenever they could.
Kennedy had been surprised to learn she was Divergent, although she assumed it wasn’t much of a surprise when she did find out because her family is pretty… diverse when it comes to factions. The only reason she wasn’t taken in for questioning was because the person taking her exams and whatnot was a friend of the family, and didn’t want any unnecessary grudges within their families.
Now, she goes on with her life like none of that fear had ever consumed her at some point- training, exercising and going to clubs whenever she has the time. Out of fear of getting caught, Peyton decided to stay in Dauntless- because the chances of getting caught lying or pretending to be anything but Dauntless was less likely to happen then.
Usually whenever she’s done with training one group or when one group graduates, only to repeat the whole cycle a couple of months later with a new group. It’s a good life, but she can’t help but to wonder if perhaps it would have been a better one if she had decided on another faction. Would she have been happy there? She didn’t think so, because some part of her also stayed in Dauntless for her family. Even if she would have found more relatives some other place.

Once she was an official citizen of Dauntless, she calmed down… somewhat. She still goes to parties, but the fear of getting caught and getting stripped from Dauntless made it a little less exciting. Especially because now she didn’t have to sneak around anymore.
Because of her appearance, many would make the mistake of thinking she wasn’t as threatening as the other trainers.
In her early months of becoming trainer, she actually had a few of her colleagues bad mouthing her- until she showed them the bottom of her boot and left a nasty bruise behind to show she wasn’t as weak or soft as they believed. At least not when it came to her job.
Since then, she hasn’t had any indication that made her believe they didn’t respect her. If anything, that made them like her more- and it was those same people she’d often be found partying with. So she can’t exactly say things weren’t good for her in Dauntless.

Something one would notice about Peyton is that she’s constantly changing her hair. Seriously. She made it a habit to change it with every group she gets to train. As of now, she has silver hair she didn’t think she’d like but ended up loving. Who knows what color she’d change it to later.

History~ Rhia was born in Candor. Her mother was born in Amity but chose Candor when she met Rhia's father who was divergent. He was born in Erudite, but chose Candor because he had a passion for truth and believed that dishonesty was the cause of war. He worked as a high position lawyer, which was a good paying job. Rhia's mother grew to appreciate honesty, agreeing with her husband because she loved him, though it was never her absolute passion to be in Candor. They had two children in Candor, Rhia, their firstborn, and Rhia's brother Matthew, who is two years younger than her.
They all lived happily in Candor until Rhia was five years old. That was the year that her parents got divorced. They had gotten into lots of arguments over the years about how Rhia's mother didn't have a job, and Rhia's father was slightly angry about this because he felt he had to support the family by himself at work everyday, and his job kept him at work very often so that he was almost never home while the children were awake, and he felt that this should change. He wanted his wife to get a job and "stop being a disgrace to the name Candor." That was all he wanted from her.
However, she refused, saying that she had to care for the children while he was away at work all day, and she got even angrier at him for trying to manipulate her.
In the end, it was Rhia's mother who called for the divorce, declaring that she was done with him and that she didn't know why she ever loved him to begin with. So Rhia's father moved out, and Rhia and her brother got to visit him every other weekend since Rhia's mother had won custody despite Rhia's father's connections in the law industry. Rhia's mother had played the "I'm helpless, I don't have a job" card to win, and this even resulted in Rhia's father having to pay a sum of money to her each time he got a pay check. As you can image, he was immensely frustrated by this.
This went on for another four years, until the bank took away their old family house where Rhia's mother had been living with Rhia and her brother. Apparently Rhia's mother had been using the money for other things besides paying the house bills. In any sense, they still had to move, so Rhia's mother found an apartment in a different town. The children continued visiting their father. And this continued for another three years.
When Rhia was twelve, her father was diagnosed with cancer. He died later that year. Rhia was devastated. She hated herself for not spending more time with him. And she was also angry that she was the only one who seemed to care that he had died. Her mother had stopped caring about anything years ago and her brother was her mother's pet. Though Rhia supposed he didn't know any better, seeing as he was only three years old when they were divorced. Rhia became depressed and stopped being as kind and friendly as she once was.
They continued to live in their small apartment in Candor, her mother still refusing to get a job, after receiving some money from her ex-husband's death. Though not nearly enough. And that's where Rhia has lived for four more years, determined to leave and go to Erudite as soon as the choosing ceremony happens.

History: Joana has been in Amity since she was young. She never liked spending her time with her parents as they kept lecturing her on peace and why she should join Amity etc. She felt like this was a little too much. Thanks to the Erudite part of her she soon came to know about the peace serum in the bread and stopped eating it ever since. Her parents always used to persuade her to eat it but she never listened. One day, when she was twelve she looked out of the window and found two Amity adults arguing with each other and saw one of them hitting the other very badly. She also noticed that there were no guards around to stop them. So she went near them herself and went between them and tried to stop the person who was hitting the other one. By trying this, she hurt herself badly but managed to knock the man unconscious. When the guards came they immediately forced the peace serum into her and then sent her to her parents. Her parents scolded her and then started abusing her. This was when she decided that she wanted to go to Dauntless. She somehow managed to survive the next four years and then when the Choosing Ceremony came, she chose Dauntless.

Although not to strange because both of her parents were Candor transfers and when Alley came out as divergent she felt she needed to tell someone, she told her friend Milo. Who came with her to dauntless trying to get her safe away from the prying eyes and ears of people she knew. She managed to transfer early by convincing her friends dad to let her take the aptitude test and switch before the age of 16.
