Veronica stood. "Does anyone else need a bone popped in place? Otherwise we should discuss plans."

“You need to take that hand easy, it’ll be sore for a while and may swell up.” Jade frowned, “you have any other broken things?”

Veronica notices Inara and Jade share a moment. It made her feel strange inside.

Jade snapped the index back in place.
“Any others?”

Veronica looked at Jade and his exasperated expression. She put a hand on his shoulder. "Ian is trying, just, be patient okay."

Penelope watched with no expression. “Where did you learn to do that?” She asked Jade. “I would just make it worse.”

Jade looked at her hand, and smiled.
“I’m sorry. I’ll try.” Veronica’s voice and touch calmed him, and he didn’t know why.
“Ian, you need to rest.”

“Penelope, I learned it myself. I always broke bones.”

Veronica gave Ian The Look. "What would Ryenna say?"

Jade felt surprisingly calm at Ian’s sassy response.
“You need to rest or you’re healing process will be slower and yes have more water.”

Penelope nodded, “Cool.”

Jade nodded.

“Veronica, will you go with me. My night vision isn’t very good.” Jade smirked teasingly.
