"Well, it all started in 5th grade with my sister Bethany. Her and this boy decided that they were gonna, well, date. Yes, yes, at the ages of 10 and 11, so dumb right? Anyways, one day on the playground the boy Bethany was 'dating' decided to kiss her." Teddy paused for suspense, grinning at Penelope, "And boy was my sister upset. She punched the kid right in the nose, then pushed him to the ground."
Teddy looked at Veronica, searching for any sign of smile.
"Oh, but that's not where it stops. That day when Bethany came home, she told my dad. And if you think that she was upset, that's nothing compared to what my dad did."
Teddy stopped to keep them both intrigued, waiting for them to urge him to keep going.

"Well, like I said, my dad was fuming with anger. He stormed to our house phone and called the boy's parents. He yelled and yelled at them for hours. I was actually dying laughing at the time, I was only in 2nd grade and had no idea what was even going on. When my dad hung up, Bethany asked what the boy's parents said, and you wanna know what my dad answered with?"
"Yes I heard her screaming bloody murder Ian. I'm not deaf." *I wish I was though* He muttered under his breath.
"She was screaming about wanting to kill me....or something. I doubt she cried, that's not her. She wouldn't care enough to cry. Now go away."

"My dad said that the parents said they were transferring schools. My dad basically threatened them. So, uh, yeah, I think that's why I'm so upset right now, I get it from my dad."
Teddy hoped this at least made Veronica not feel as bad.
Jade shoved him away.
"I've been hurt worse. It'll heal. Let's say, she did cry. What am I supposed to do?" He wiped his shirt sleeve on his foot, wincing at the pain.

"No it's blood." Jade kept glaring at ian. "What's apologizing gonna do? She's not gonna forgive me. Not that i want her too. And duh, I learned from kissing. Never doing it again, yippee. Would you just leave my cut alone. Go give your cut sleeve to Veronica. I'm sure she'd love it." Jade spun away from Ian, and tested if the blood had dried on his finger first.

Teddy didn't know what to do from here. Just continue sitting with her? Going with Ian and talking with Jade, well, no, that wouldn't go down well. He decided to let them just sit here, she needed rest.

Carsie Rose wrote: "((man..... Jade is....a very stubborn child. Ian is losing his temper...okay))
Ian stood up, completely at the end of his rope.
"You know what? Fine. You want to sit and have a pity party by yours..."
Jade ignored him, he stood, wincing, and shoved past Ian.
He stood in the doorway of the room Veronica and Teddy were in. He saw Veronica in Teddy's arms. Jade was to the point he didn't care anymore.
"Sorry. I should've waited. I'm sorry it didn't work out. Sorry I hurt your feelings. I truly didn't mean to." He said barely above a whisper. Jade walked out and went into the kitchen to find some water for his foot.

((UM EXCUSE ME THAT WAS A SINCIER APOLOGY HE WOULDA ADDED SOMETHIN SARCASTIC OR YELLED IT IF IT WANST!!!! XD))
Jade heard Teddy's remark, but didn't bother to return a snarky reply.

((my bad XD))
Jade finally found the extra water bottle, and poured it on his foot, rinsing away the blood. The cut was deep, and he still saw small pieces of shiny glass. Rolling his eyes, he wrapped a bowl around his foot, tied it, and sat on the counter, looking at his cut finger

"Listen, he'll get it together. Jade isn't a bad guy, he just hit a bump in the road."

((I love how all of this is over a kiss XD))

((I know we do. but how? Jade still has freakin glass in his foot and Veronica still be crying))
Teddy continued hugging Veronica, comforting her and letting her cry it all out.
"You know, these are very interesting circumstances." Teddy said, hoping to get a conversation going.
