48.) Common Sense (HB) - Thomas Paine
49.) Anna Christie (EB) - Eugene O'Neill
50.) Selected Poems of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (PB)

20. The Adventures of Captain Hatteras by Jules Verne
4 stars.
An enjoyable adventure tale about an expedition to find the North Pole. Not science fiction, but science plays a big role in getting these explorers out of dangerous situations.

This is my new favorite James Bond novel. I was unfamiliar with the story line before reading/listening to it and it was awesome.

Thanks for the info, Fran! I’ve read two Bond novels. Casino Royal was good, but I was disappointed in Doctor No. I’ll have to try Gold Finger next.
