Totally fair! Moving and starting a new job and everything has kind of stopped my extra time to do them! But Ill get there eventually
Its crazy? Drove 20 hours to get to my new home, for awhile anyway. Needed to get away from things and get a change of scenery. New job is alright, some of the same issues but I am liking the people Im working with so that helps. Its good to see how other hospitals run also.
Oh wow. that's quite a ways away. I'm glad you like the people you work with though. Bad co-workers can make for a terrible job experience.
April:
11 books and 4548 pages read
5 audio, 5 physical, 1 ebook
1 five star, 4 four star, 4 three star, 2 two star
started and got up to date on one series. Made some progress on some other series as well.

I quite liked the first one, not sure if it was a wrong mood for reading it but I didnt love the second one. Ill try at least one more volume though

It had a fantastic atmosphere but the book overall was only okay for me. I didn't care about the characters like at all. The setting though was perfect
I still need to update from the middle of June onwards.... the longer I put it off the more daunting it gets!
Finally updated all my yearly challenges. Everything else I think I am letting go of. Well and I updated my stats and series stuff. Never want to leave it to 19 books again.... too many!

Oooh looks like a good month! What did you think of Girl of Nightmares?? I read that a long time ago, but I do remember that I liked the first book over this one.
I liked These Violent Delights, good narrator helped. Mystery was easy but I liked the flawed characters. Had a lot going on while trying to be a Romeo and Juliet retelling but it worked. Planning on listening to the next one shortly.
Girl of Nightmares was mediocre. The first one was so good. This felt unnecessary. Some interesting bits but not enough ghosts.

I didnt like it like at all. Took me a month to read, I was bored at 10% and should've just quit but it had potential and should've been something I loved. It just didn't work.

So different and worth reading. 3.5 stars for me. Was a good audio too. I think you'd like it

The first one was good and interesting to listen to. The second one was repetitive and unnecessary.

Wow! That's amazing Britt. Well done. I'm hoping to get to 100 this year. If I do it'll be the first time in about 8 years.
In October I finished all of 4 books so quite a low reading month for me.
1902 pages
2 three stars, 1 four star, 1 five star
1 horror, 1 space opera/sci fi, 1 UF, 1 YA fantasy

We all have those months. But almost 2000 pages in a month isn't too bad! Which was your favorite? It looks like you enjoyed them all to one degree or another.
That we do! I had another one almost finished in October so its a little more reading but not a ton. Spooky things and video games took up some reading time!
Best book was Feed but all of them were solid books. Waiting on my hold for book two of Rivers of London, doing a series read with another group. Loved getting back to the Confederation books, was so excited to find Valors Trial and the next book at book sale. I don't love a lot of sci fi but I really enjoy this series, its military space opera type, not a ton of techno babble and just fun characters and species.

Right?! Its been awhile since a book made me want to cry that badly!

That's good to hear, Brittany! I'm excited to read that one after just having finished Into the Drowning Deep!

Thanks Elena! It was definitely a diverse group of books! I think you'd be okay with Feed, its horror because of zombies and well there are lots of those. But its also bloggers trying to get the truth out there and other representations of the news. And it has great characters that feel pretty darn real.

I don't read horror and I loved Feed. I would say it more like an adult dystopia kind of book. That's what I logged it as on my blog.
