message 51: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments Alex raised her wand. "I can help if you get to tired." She whispered "Lumos" and her wand lit brightly at the tip. She started to walk forward, glancing around at all the walls.

message 52: by Denali (new)

Denali Christianson ~Semi-active~ (denalichristianson) Alex raised her stick. "I can help if you get too tired."
She whispered something and the stick lit up brightly at the tip.
Taliya grinned and lowered her hand. "In that case, I'll hold mine in front and you hold yours up there, and we'll have plenty of light!"
Joven cleared his throat from behind Taliya.
She turned.
He held up a stick of wood that he must have grown when she wasn't looking. "Maybe you just make a torch?"
Taliya grinned. "Thanks, Joven."
She took the stick and transferred the fire to it. That helped. She didn't have to concentrate nearly as much now.

Book - Dragon | 41 comments The walls were covered in fancy tapestries that depicted unicorns, dragons, and knights in armor.

message 54: by Avery (new)

Avery Judd (averyisabelle) Asher looked at the knights, very intrigued. “Woah, this is so cool.” He touched the sword and smiled.

message 55: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments "Look at all the mythical creatures they embroidered. It always makes me wonder if they used to be real."

message 56: by Avery (new)

Avery Judd (averyisabelle) Asher nodded, “It does.”

message 57: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments Alex walked forward a little more and suddenly disappeared from sight. THUD! She had fallen in a hole in the floor.

message 58: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments She yelped in pain. "I'm alright! Mostly!" She called up.

message 59: by Denali (new)

Denali Christianson ~Semi-active~ (denalichristianson) Taliya glanced at the tapestries. They depicted horned horses and knights in armor, and creatures that looked similar to Kathreya's dragon.
Asher touched a sword hanging from a suit of armor, grinning. “Woah, this is so cool," he whispered.
"Look at all the mythical creatures they embroidered. It always makes me wonder if they used to be real," Alex said.
“It does," Asher agreed.
Used to be?
Taliya and Joven exchanged glances, but with all the other weird things happening, she wasn't all that surprised that they'd never seen a dragon.
Suddenly, Alex dropped through the floor and landed on the ground with a thud and a yelp.
Taliya gasped and ran to the edge of the hole that had randomly appeared out of nowhere.
"I'm alright! Mostly!" Alex called.
Taliya grinned painfully. "Mostly? Is there some way I can help?"

message 60: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments "Nope, I've got this. Lumos Maximas!" A bright light filled the hole Alex was standing in. She looked around curious to see what she had fallen into. Then she saw the first skeleton. She shrieked in horror.

message 61: by Denali (new)

Denali Christianson ~Semi-active~ (denalichristianson) "Nope, I've got this." Alex replied. "Lumos Maximas!"
A brilliant light illuminated the hole, and Taliya craned her neck to see into the murky depths.
Then Alex shrieked.
"What is it?" Taliya cried.

message 62: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments "There are skeletons down here! This must be a trap and no one ever escaped from it!" She fearfully looked around for a way to get out. She sighed. Why did she always use magic to fix her problems? "Wingardium Leviosa!" She floated out of the pit and back onto solid ground. "I hope there aren't more of these traps."

message 63: by Avery (new)

Avery Judd (averyisabelle) Asher rushed over to Alex, “Are you alright?”

message 64: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments "I'm fine now, but that was creepy." She tucked her wand away.

message 65: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments ((where did the knight come from?))

message 66: by Avery (new)

Avery Judd (averyisabelle) ((ohhhh hhahahahaha i read the thing totally wrong. I thought there were statues of knights in armor 😂😂😂))

message 67: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments ((There should be though!))

message 68: by Denali (new)

Denali Christianson ~Semi-active~ (denalichristianson) ((LOL!!!!))

message 69: by Avery (new)

Avery Judd (averyisabelle) ((ok well then let me redo that lol))

message 70: by Avery (new)

Avery Judd (averyisabelle) Asher looked in the hole and shivered. He didn’t like where this is going. “Maybe we should explore some. But carefully.” He glanced back at Alex.

message 71: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments "Really really carefully." Alex slipped around the hole and made it safely to the other side. "Luminous Maximous!" The whole hallway lit up. At the very end of the hall stood something tall and silent. "Wh-whats that?"

message 72: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments Alex shrieked as it started to stumble forward, arms outstretched like a zombies.

message 73: by Denali (new)

Denali Christianson ~Semi-active~ (denalichristianson) Taliya waited as Alex and Ashton started down the hallway.
Alex reached the end and held up her stick, which she commanded to brighten.
Something stood at the end of the hallway. It was tall. It was very, very evil.
Taliya choked and yanked an arrow out of her quiver, nocking it as quickly as she could.
Joven's sword was already drawn, held in a steady hand. His brown eyes scanned back and forth.
Joven was scary when he was concentrated.
Alex shrieked and stumbled forward. Her arms were outstretched. She almost looked braindead.
Taliya yelped, transferred her bow to one hand, and ran, catching up to Alex from behind.
She managed to grab her shoulders and pull her to standing.
"Are you okay?" she whispered, her hand ready to draw the bow.
That thing was still there, though she couldn't tell what it was.

message 74: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments ((oops, I meant the monster put out its arms and started drinking like a zombie))

The thing stumbled forward, arms outstretched.
Alex shrieked.
Taliya released an arrow, and she knew she hit her mark perfectly.
The monster didn't stop.
"Alex! Run to us!" she screamed. The monster wasn't stopping.

message 78: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments Alex was petrified. She had once jumped into a zombie book and it had been a horrible experience. It stumbled closer moaning. She jumped back, turned, and ran back down the hall. "Thank goodness zombies are notoriously slow" she muttered.

message 79: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments ((oh I just had an awesome idea, but please tell me if its actually not awesome. What if the castle is enchanted and it can manifest their deepest and not so deep fears, depending on how deep they explore the castle? Maybe this will lead to defeating their living nightmares and finding something hidden at the castles core. I don't know. What do you think?))

message 80: by Denali (new)

Denali Christianson ~Semi-active~ (denalichristianson) ((YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And this is a terrible plan because I just read Divergent lol... LET'S DO IT!!!!!!!!))

message 81: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments ((alright!!!))

message 82: by Denali (new)

Denali Christianson ~Semi-active~ (denalichristianson) ((YEAHHHHHH!!!!!!))

message 83: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments Alex made it back to the other end of the hall and turned to stand with Taliya and Joven. She raised her wand.

message 84: by Avery (new)

Avery Judd (averyisabelle) ((Y’ALL HAVE THE BEST IDEASS))

message 85: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments ((Thank you, I try))

message 86: by Avery (new)

Avery Judd (averyisabelle) Asher followed the other 3. “This place is so weird.”

message 87: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments "Especially since there is a zombie making its way toward us." Alex cast a "Diffindo!" and a large cut appeared across the zombie. It did not stop.

message 88: by Denali (new)

Denali Christianson ~Semi-active~ (denalichristianson) Taliya watched as Alex wielded her stick. It chopped a cut into the approaching monster but did nothing to stop it.
Taliya stared in horror.
This was not good. Fear attempted to root in her chest, but she shook it away, looking around.
She saw the gaping hole in the ground.
"In the hole. Now," she said.

message 89: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments Alex didn't like this idea so much. The hole? Really? She sucked down her fear and jumped in.

message 90: by Avery (new)

Avery Judd (averyisabelle) Asher didn’t like that idea much, “Are you sure?” but it was too late. Alex had already jumped in. He kneeled down and looked into the hole, “I don’t like this.”

message 91: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments "Neither do I, but its better than having your brains eaten by a zombie."

message 92: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments Alex hated it in the hole. It was dark and she hated the dark. "Come on! Do you wanna die by zombie attack?"

message 93: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments Alex had been minding her own business in the stupid hole when something fell on her. "OUCH! What the?" She shoved the thing off her. "Who are you?" She pulled out her wand.

message 94: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments "No, I jumped down here on purpose." Alex whispered "Lumos" and her wand lighted, showing the face of a scared boy.

message 95: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments Alex looked at the boy, Colin. "I jumped down here to escape from the zombie. And a zombie is a reanimated corpse. You know, a dead body that's been brought back to life and wants to eat human brains."

message 96: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments Alex had to think about that for a minute. "I don't know, a low iron deficiency maybe? Anyway..." She raised her wand. "Asher you coming?"

message 97: by Avery (new)

Avery Judd (averyisabelle) Asher jumped down and stood up, “Of course. I would be bored out of my mind with that zombie.”

message 98: by Book - Dragon, Queen of the Night Owls (new)

Book - Dragon | 41 comments Alex laughed. "This is Colin." She pointed to the new boy.

message 99: by Avery (new)

Avery Judd (averyisabelle) Asher put out his hand, “I’m Asher. Pleased to meet you.”

message 100: by [deleted user] (new)

Red turned to Big Wolf.
“You think you could help me get it?” Big Wolf grinned, showing off white sharp fangs.
“Of course…But I can’t go in with you.” She nodded.
“Just take care of the guards, and I’ll be able to get inside.” The wolf ran off. A few minutes later Red heard the yells of guards and then silence. She reached the gate, and took one of the swords lying on the ground. The gate was open, so she walked inside. Hearing voices she followed them until she saw a group of people.
“Hey. Who are you?” She held the sword in front of her. Red had no idea how to wield it, she was more a dagger person, but they didn’t know that.
