I didn’t get as much read as I wanted to last night, but I did get to the “Before” prologue thing. Where are you?

Sorryyy I haven’t read much as well, I started the prologue you said about as well and tonight I’ll try to read a but more.

That’s perfectly fine. I’m really busy, and I know you’re busy too, so I just want this to be really low key and low maintenance. Try to get at least a chapter read each day, and if you don’t, that’s perfectly okay! :)

I am so so sorry, I thought I’d be able to make time for it and I really wanted to but somehow things again didn’t turn out😭 Idk what’s happening lately and if it’s just that my organization is bad, but time isn’t on my side:’) But I’ll probably find a day where I’ll catch up, the weekend for an example. Do u like it this far?

No worries!! I want this buddy read to be fun and really laid back! I really don’t care if you don’t hit even a chapter a day. I understand that life’s busy and doesn’t always work out like you hoped and planned. You don’t have to apologize for something that’s out of your control! :)

I’m just going to be posting my updates so that we both know where the other is at. That way, if you do happen to get ahead of me, we don’t accidentally spoil anything.

And yes, I do! It’s pretty interesting! I’m really hoping it lives up to the hype!

We’re doing our buddy read extremely laidback, since we both have busy schedules. Right now it’s just more of a “read at your own pace” type of buddy read.

I read chapter 6 and I'll probably read some more tonight! I like it this far, it's quite fast paced which is really important for me. Though I still don't know what to think about the characters.

Okay, for your question, I really don't know. I still haven't seen enough of their characters to be able to choose. Though I kinda...spoiled myself about who she'll end up with(classic me) and it was NOT who I expected. I think both of them are from my favorite types- the best friend(I just LOVE friends to lovers), and the morally grey, villanious ones. So it'll be probably really hard to choose.

U know what, u don't really need to wait for me, u can start the second one if u want to!

I told you I stayed up to 2a, and I started at like 10:30p, and I only had about 200 pages left. XD

Yeah, I’m really glad I liked it! I was worried it wouldn’t live up to the hype, but I’m glad it did! I think you’ll like it too, since our tastes are so similar!

You know who Alina will end up with?!?! I really want to know, and yet I don’t!! Lol 😂 Yeah, both the friends to lovers and the morally grey characters tropes are so addictive!! At the point you’re at now, I was team Mal; I won’t say how my opinions did or didn’t change!

I was super surprised when I learned, I even had to google it to be sure it was true. At the beginning I was so sure at the opposite that I told my mind not to get attached to the other one(which happens often), but then I learned that it’s this other one that will actually end with her so now we’ll see if I’ll be able to “convince” my mind to begin liking himXD my mind is complicated.

Lol, well, 4 hours, 200 pages. That’s like 50 pages per hour or 1 page per minute.

I just finished chapter 11, almost half of the book, and now I’m going to bed cuz it’s pretty late. I like it, it’s really intriguing but this far I don’t really find any of the characters very interesting:/

So I just finished chapter 13…xiwnfusiqob he just kissed her!!!! From nothing. Just like that! “And then he kissed me”. SO SUDDEN! I…we didn’t had almost any chemistry between them and they jumped right onto the kiss. It.isn’t.supposed.to.work.like.that. I’m just really annoyed right now if u haven’t told already:/

There really wasn’t that much chemistry, but I think there were some budding tensions. But things will probably begin to make more sense as you go on. . . .

I reached chapter…14? 15? I don’t really know, but I’m 60% in or something, today I was at a birthday party so I didn’t had almost any time to read but now I’ll read a lil more until I get more tired.

I expected the Darkling to be morally grey but this far he’s been acting only kind and careful(in my opinion)🤨

She just met Mal. I’m super confused on both of him and the Darkling, to be honest I kinda feel that both of them are a lil toxic but we’ll see how it goes.

Yesterday I read a few more chapters, I reached 70% and Alina was just about to run from The Darkling. Also I didn’t expect…Banga?(Is she called like that in Engish?) to be his mother…

I don’t hate him too, not at all, but this far I don’t love him as well. He’s just…okay.
