Chris Castagna-Hewes | 2 comments I admit, I have not been much of a reader in my life...a book a year while on vacation sums it up and I start many but never really finish them.

My mother is in her late 80's and we have started to take her for memory loss and one of the key components to stimulating memory is mental stimulation. Given dementia runs in the family, I have committed to disconnecting from the phone, TV and audio book to read a book a month in 2022 to help stave off the genetic disposition.

Thank you. I plan on mixing it up a little. I started Outlander last night (the January read) given the length.

Feb is going to be Dan Millman's newest release, Peaceful Heart, Warrior Spirit: The True Story of my Spiritual Quest, which I have had preordered since the summer.

I prefer period novels (Rules of Civility type) with some political, spiritual growth and biography thrown in the mix.
