I smiled at reading from your home library because I think that's an EXCELLENT goal.
Keep me posted. I'd love to see what you get into this year.

I'm a pretty slow reader soo, i'm setting myself up for 12 this year.
Hopefully i'll get on yall level & hit the 100books/year soon. I'm feeling very inspired by you all.

That's awesome. Can't wait to see what you get into.

12 is an excellent number. Looking forward to seeing what you pick up.

I have a small library of books I've purchased over the years that am tackling. I'm looking at the Boxall reading challenge as well.

I pretty much love any type of book but lately I’ve been really loving the old era books. Like old love stories where love wasn’t accepted or laws didn’t permit. My father was a cotton picker and loving who didn’t look like us was against the law. I’ve read two of Attica Locke books and I’m drawn to find many like them. I just purchased Yellow Wife by Sadeqa Johnson. Excited about this book.

I am all about the challenges this year I am Jumping in and doubling my reading goal this year, I want to read 104 books. My 2021 goal was 52 and I went over that so I figured why not got all out and double it. 99% of last year's goal was on my kindle so this year I am also going to put the electronics down a little and try to make at least 25% actual books 10% audible. I have tried audible but could not get into it, so I am going to give it a try again. I will be using a few challenges to broaden my range of genres. Looking forward to seeing what everyone is reading this year

but i really enjoy reading a lot of black authored books with the genre of romance and fiction. my reading 2022 goals is to at least read 50-100 books.
any book recommendations would be appreciated as i’m still exploring 😩

If you're looking for romance, you definitely should read Christina C. Jones, Nicole Falls, AshleyNicole (that's is how she spells her name), Alexandra Warren, Alexandria House, M. Monique, Kema B,. Kay Shanee, Stephanie Nicole Norris, and Sabrina B. Scales. All of these ladies phenomenal catalogs and you can't go wrong with any of their books.

Thank you Candice for recommending the StoryGraph challenges!

Hi Stephanie. I'm not sure if I will do this challenge. It's a massive list of books from which I can choose (see https://www.goodreads.com/group/books...). There are various challenges associated with reading books from this list only. Some look fun, some look more complicated than reading needs to be, etc.
