Fellstones by Ramsey Campbell
Hoping to get out of a serious slump with a brand-new novel by my favorite living writer!"
Did you like Fellstones, Christopher? I haven't read anything by Campbell in years, although I have The Grin of the Dark in my TBR pile. That one sounds folk horror-ish, which is right up my alley.

The Woman in Black and Susan Hill

Rage by Stephen King writing as Richard Bachman
and I'm also slowly picking my way through

The Collected Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe by Edgar Allan Poe

Embarrassed to say that this is my first Stephen King book, but I’m optimistic about this one. 💕

I loved it, actually. Five stars! A slow burn but with great cumulative power. I also highly recommend Grin of the Dark, which is in my top ten horror novels of all time.

Your first? Well then, you've got plenty of good reading ahead of you with all the books King has written!

I second The Grin of the Dark, one of the best horror novels I've read. Another slow burn, but when the implications of the story become clear, it's intense.
Currently reading stories from Conference with the Dead by Terry Lamsley

so far, so good! i'm only about 60 pages in, but the beginning has really pulled me in, and i'm enjoying it a lot. :)

That was an AMAZING read! Have you seen the movie?

I did enjoy it! Especially Sean Penn's performance. And that of Tim Robbins.

I'm also reading a new release from Valancourt, it was translated from the original Italian:

Lastly, I'm listening to a previously unpublished release from Katherine Dunn, the author of Geek Love.

Jackal looks so good, it's been coming up on all of my recommended book emails the past few days.
Rotating 5 books at the moment ( down from 11+) and just remembered that I got Rachel Hawkins's The Villa from NetGalley so started that today :)
The Villa
Inspired by Fleetwood Mac, the Manson murders, and the infamous summer Percy and Mary Shelley spent with Lord Byron at a Lake Geneva castle––the birthplace of Frankenstein––The Villa welcomes you into its deadly legacy.

You're right about that.

I read my first two Tannarive Due books this year, I'm a big fan! I haven't read that one yet, though.
